Part 3: -
Conor’s POV
I froze when I heard her voice. I hoped she wouldn’t answer, I didn’t wanna be forced to speak but I knew I had to.
“Braden if this is you trying to get back at me or whether you’re trying to psych me out, I will come all the way to Sunderland and beat the hell out of you. Pregnant or not” I gulped at her tone, she was mad. Oh, crap.
“Lexi, it’s not Braden,” I said swallowing my pride.
“Oh great! Let me guess, Jack gave you my number so you can try to apologise? Well guess what Conor, I don’t wanna hear it. I moved all the way to Sunderland to get away from you and that’s not even remotely possible. Not with you being the famous jerk you are. So guess what Conor, you can go suck on someone’s willy and don’t contact me again,” She said angrily before cutting me off. I tried and that’s the main thing. Not a very good try but I tried nonetheless.
“So how did it go?” Anth asked me while sitting down on a chair.
“Um, at first she thought it was her ex, I think. When I said it wasn’t who she thought it was, I got an earful so not that good”
“Conor, you’re gonna have to apologise one way or another. You can’t live your life full of regret and your regret will be not being there for your child”
“I know Anth, but there’s nothing else I can do though. Lexi’s friends are all in Sunderland so she’ll be spending a lot of time with them. Also, Anth, I’m touring soon as well and I’m nowhere near Sunderland on that tour”
“Conor, you can add a date there. Look, you need to do something to get Lexi to understand your reasoning. I know you don’t wanna go on national TV and admit you got a girl pregnant because then the paparazzi and interviewers won’t stop asking questions about who she is and things. The only thing I can suggest is travelling to Sunderland and talking to her”
“Anth, it’s just not that easy. She’d shut the door in my face if I ever went near her. I guess I just have to forget I even have a child and all about Lexi”
“Conor, stop being a wimp and go and apologise to her. You’re beating yourself up about this and it’s not right. You need to apologise before it’s too late”
“Anth, if only life was that easy. People know who I am and getting any privacy to talk to Lexi would be impossible. Public would be a no-no and in private she’d chop my balls off and that’s not a joke. I think it might be best just to leave it”
“Conor, I’m not gonna be repeating myself but just let me say it right now, I told ya so” Anth said before getting up and leaving. I knew he was right in everything he said but Lexi was stubborn and she wouldn’t let you apologise if she wanted to.
Alexis’ POV
When Conor announced it was him, I lost it. I can’t believe he had the nerve to even phone me. I just can’t believe Jack had the nerve to even give him my phone number. Like, if I wanted Conor to have my number, I would’ve given him it myself. But obviously, Jack likes taking matters in his own hands. Matters, which have no relevance to him.
“So Lexi, what the hell was that phone call all about?” Nathalia asked. Nathalia’s the biggest Mayniac of the group so you could quite clearly know her intentions of finding out. To tell the whole damn world.
“Just a fight with someone, that’s all”
“It’s obviously something so spill” Nathalia pushed.
“Basically, I was fighting with my best friends older brother, whom, by the way is a bigger pain in my ass than Braden’s ever been”
“Lexi, I know you’ve been gone for three years and we don’t know what’s happened for you to even argue with the guy but we are here to help you, if you ever need it” Avery spoke up.
