I was walking down the hall one day, and there she was. Her face framed by yellow wooden rods, and above her, a sign that read:

KISSES FOR CHARITY- 1.00$

As I was just coming into her view, I stopped and watched her for a minute. She was slouching, and I hadn't really noticed before how much of an arch her back had. Like a cat.

Wow. I'm comparing Sam to a cat.

But when you think about it, they share some similar traits. For instance, cats are cute at first, but then looking closer you see the claws. And claws mean scratching. Scratching equals pain, and pain equals Sam. Pain and Sam are basically a package deal. If I want Sam, that must mean I want Pain. it's a good thing I don't .. you know .. want Sam...

"Not for nine billion dollars." Okay, I had been staring. But ouch! Nine billion dollars is a lot of money!

"Don't worry, I don't want to kiss you." I lied. Wait, no, I'm not lying, I'm not a liar. I don't want to kiss Sam. I just don't. "But I do want you to win this 'Shane Contest'."

"You don't want me to win!" True. "You just want Carly to lose." False. No, True.

I think. I don't like Sam. That is craziness. "That is..." Whoops. Um... "True!" I am skilled.

Woah, woah, woah! What was that look! She just gave me that 'I-know-you-like-Carly-but-I-want-you-to-like-me' look. Okay. I'm crazy. I only wish there was a look. Kidding. I don't like Sam.

"If you're dating Shane, that will make Carly want a boyfriend!" I said.

"Here he comes!" She said. "Go!"

"But, wai-"

"Go!"

"No."

"Go!" She pulled out a water gun filled with who knows what. Great. This was a new shirt. "Go! Go! Go! Go!"

And so I ran away screaming. But I might go see her tomorrow with nine-billion and two dollars.
