-Aurora Jones' Point of View-

With the help of my mom, I was ready for the party right at eight. I wasn't sure if Harry was actually going to come, I kept telling myself it was only a joke and all the time I took getting ready was for nothing. I started to think this was a good thing, I'd be saving my butt from having to spend a night with a rude guy, who I just met earlier today, and avoiding a party... which is an event I really don't like attending too much.

Then again, he did go out of his way to buy a new tux. If he doesn't come pick me up, he'll still be going to the party. I just hope it was all a joke, so I can change into my pajamas and go to sleep.

My thoughts were proven wrong when I heard the doorbell ring just a minute after eight. My heart wouldn't calm down, it was pumping abnormally fast. I know getting nervous was normal, but not if the guy, who is my date, is a complete ass. I shouldn't even be going to this party with someone as rude and arrogant as him.

"Aurora, honey, Harry is here!" Mom called out from down stairs.

I stared at myself in the mirror for a few more seconds before gaining the courage to walk out of my room, Here goes nothing.

As I made my way downstairs, it felt like something out of a movie. The girl walks down the stairs as her parents and date watched her, I felt awkward being watched by everyone. I was surprised I was able to make it downstairs, without falling on my face.

Once I made it down, without embarrassing myself, Harry walked over to me and smiled. "You look incredibly, beautiful, Jones." He smiled.

He turned to face my father, "Sir, I can assure you that she is going to be alright with me. I'll make sure to treat her with respect and take good care of her while we're at this party."

Well he really does know how to smooth talk anyone, huh? First my mom and now my dad, I really hope my dad doesn't give in to his 'charm.'

My dad stayed silent for a while, just glaring at Harry. I was beginning to think he was going to change his mind about letting me go to this party, but my father shook Harry's hand and nodded. "Good. Now, go have fun you crazy kids." He smiled.

Really dad?! Really?! The one time I need you to be a hard ass you're understanding and nice?! What the heck is going on with my family?!

"I didn't think convincing your parents to like me would be so easy, I figured they would've interrogated me or something." Harry chuckled as he parked his car in front of a large mansion.

That makes two of us.

I couldn't believe I was about to enter an expensive looking mansion, no wonder these guys are put on that blog Niall was talking about. Who wouldn't be talking about these people?

The passenger door in front of me suddenly opened, making me jump. Harry chuckled, as he helped me out of his car. "You alright, there?"

I nodded, "I'm fine, I've just never seen such a beautiful... mansion." I muttered, still looking around.

"As long as you're not gawking like that inside, you'll be fine." He said before grabbing my hand in his.

I would've snapped at him for holding my hand, but it was either this or him wrapping his arm around my waist or shoulder and I really wouldn't want to give people inside the wrong idea about us. Holding hands shouldn't be a big deal.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked as we walked towards the front entrance.

He laughed, "You're my date to this party, all eyes will be on you tonight."
