-Aurora Jones' Point of View-
Carter gripped my forearm, tightly, as he and his brother began to contemplate what they should do with me.
"She's new around these parts, so she doesn't understand how we work." Mitchell spoke.
Carter nodded, "You're right, should we explain?"
Mitchell simply nodded and waited for his brother to begin speaking. I wasn't sure what exactly they are going to explain to me, but they were gonna go through with it.
"Aurora? Is it? Or would you prefer Jones?" Carter chuckled.
I glared at the both of them, "Neither to you guys. I don't talk to guys who harass girls!" I snapped.
"How cute, you thought we were harassing her?" Mitchell laughed.
"As I've said before, you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into. She was sticking her nose into other people's business and found out something she shouldn't have, just like you did. We were only making sure she wouldn't spread it on that blog." Carter explained.
"Well maybe you shouldn't be doing things you don't want other people finding out about." I snapped.
I knew I should've just walked away and minded my own business, but I wasn't going to let them continue bothering that girl. She may have information they didn't want getting out, but they didn't have to be so forceful about it.
"Watch yourself, Jones," Mitchell warned, "you really don't want to get involved with us." He smirked.
I rolled my eyes, "A pair of rich assholes, who think they can do whatever they please and boss people around just because they have more money than they know what to do with? Nothing I can't handle." I shot back.
I wasn't about to let these guys get to me. I was keeping my ground and showing them I wasn't afraid. I know I shouldn't be testing them, but it's the only thing I can do right now.
"You're brave, I'll give you that." Mitchell nodded.
Carter rolled his eyes, "She's only like this because she has no idea what we're capable of." He chuckled, tightening his grip on my arms.
I began to feel a horrible pain on both my arms and I'm sure this was going to leave a bruise.
I wanted to get away from them, but I didn't want them to think they got what they wanted. I didn't want to show fear, especially when dealing with rich brats like them.
"I could care less of what you're capable of. Money or power isn't as interesting to me as it is to you. Maybe if you changed the way you looked at things, girls wouldn't hate you so much." I snapped.
Mitchell laughed, "There's where you're wrong, the girls love us and would do anything to get their hands on us."
I rolled my eyes, "I seriously doubt that, you're not exactly a girl's dream guy." I laughed.
They were right, in a weird way. They're both attractive, meaning they both had pretty faces and are fairly fit. This means girls will only look at what's on the outside and obviously they're everything a girl could ever want, except for the most important thing. They both have a nasty character, which is what I look at. If the women, who want them-oh-so desperately, would see how they really are, they'd go running for the hills.
Carter's hands suddenly released my arms and grabbed me by the collar of my dress, "Look, Jones, you better watch yourself. I don't like how you've been disrespecting us and you seriously won't like me when I'm mad." He snapped, glaring into my eyes.
Our faces were only inches away from each other and the fact that I was so close to this asshole made me sick.
"Let me go!" I shouted trying my best to push him away from me.
Before I could start punching his chest, Carter was pulled off of me and shoved towards his brother. "Why don't you go pester someone else's date, Carter?" Harry's voice spat, from in front of me.
I was suddenly enveloped in the safety of Harry's arms, making me grow a little hot. I wasn't expecting Harry to be this close to me, let alone hug me.
"Why don't you tell your date to mind her own, damn, business? She was getting involved and trying to be a hero for our dear, friend Abigail." Carter snapped.
Harry turned to face me with shock written all over his face. He was angry and it wasn't because of Carter, he looked angry at me.
"She's new, couldn't you have given her a break?! You can't be fucking assholes to everyone when they have no idea what they're getting themselves into!" Harry snapped.
Mitchell rolled his eyes, "We did, but she continued to disrespect us. Why are you getting involved, Styles? It's not like you care about this girl, she's just your arm candy."
I could feel Harry tighten his fist and could hear his heart beat quicken, "There's a difference between not liking her and not caring about her, Mitch!" He snapped.
What?
Carter smirked, "Since you don't like her, I guess you wouldn't mind me taking her from you? She'll have a lot more fun with us, than with you." He spoke, walking towards us.
Did he just say, us? Is that how they are? They can share a girl with each other? As if things couldn't get any more weirder...
Carter suddenly grabbed my hand again and began pulling me towards him. I acted on instinct and fisted Harry's tuxedo in my hands, hoping he'd help me.
Harry suddenly pulled me behind him, the next thing I saw was Harry's fist collied with Carter's face.
Things just got worse...
