Aurora Jones.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked, before sitting on a nearby bench.

Luke sighed, "I just wanted to apologize for disappearing on you."

Out of all the things I expected Luke to say, this was most certainly not one of them. I expected him to... honestly, I didn't expect him to say anything. I figured he moved on and continued doing whatever it is that he does, I didn't expect him to feel guilty for anything. I mean, he shouldn't, but he could've at least told me he was going to be gone for a while.

I cocked a brow, "Oh. Well, it's alright. It's not like we were in a relationship or anything." I shrugged.

This was true. Even though Luke and I were acting like a couple, he hadn't asked me to be his girlfriend or promised anything to me. So we weren't exactly in a relationship. Honestly, Luke was just someone I needed to get over Harry and, obviously, that didn't work. I feel bad saying it like that, but that's the truth. I did like Luke, but not as much as I like Harry.

"Also... I have to tell you something." He sighed, running a hand through his blonde hair.

Luke spoke up, before I could ask him what was wrong, "Look, this is nothing personal or anything like that. I just ran into some trouble and I need some help."

I cocked a brow, "What are you talking about? What kind of trouble?"

I knew Luke was involved with a bad crowd, but I never once thought it would get this bad. He would always tell me that he was careful when it comes to the things he does, so seeing him panicked and skittish wasn't something I was used to.

He shook his head, "Bad kind of trouble, Jones, like... really bad. I was trying to fix it myself, for a while, but I didn't make enough in time for their deadline. Now, I have to do something that I am not proud of."

Luke was beginning to scare me. The way he was talking, he made it sound like he killed someone, which I really don't want to believe right now.

"Luke, just tell me what it is."

He sighed, "Calum, Michael, and I thought it'd be nice to have our own little party. You know, with just alcohol."

Oh no.

Luke turned to look at me, his blue eyes filled with fear. "We got really drunk, to the point where I couldn't comprehend anything and we thought it'd be fun if we added drugs into the mix. It was stupid."

Oh no. Oh no.

He gulped, before speaking again, "I was already drunk, so they tricked me into buying stuff I couldn't afford. They told me I could pay them back in a few days and drunk me believed it. Now, I can't pay them back and-"

"He owes us quite a bit of cash." A familiar voice, cut Luke off.

I turned back and noticed two familiar faces, faces that I thought would never approach me again. "Nice to see you again, Jones." Carter smiled.

"You made deals with them?!" I shouted, while looking at Luke.

Luke nodded, "I-I I was drunk, I-I wasn't thinking straight." He spoke, frantically.

I could tell he was scared, probably just as scared as I was and that wasn't good. Luke was never scared of anyone, not even angry Harry and that's saying something. I knew they were bad, but I didn't think they would go so far as this.

Carter made his way towards me and smiled, "Now Lukey boy, here, owes us a whole lot of money and can't pay us back."

"Do you know what that means?" Mitchell smirked.

I turned to look and Luke and noticed guilt spread across his face, "What does it mean, Luke?"

Carter laughed, "It means little Lukey is off the hook, we've got what we wanted. You're free to go, Luke."

I felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around me, while Luke stood up. "Are you serious, Luke?! This is the deal you made with them?!" I shouted, unable to believe what's happening.

Luke turned to face me, "I'm sorry, Jones, I really am. I know you and Harry have a thing and that's where they'll get the money from. They'll-"

"That's enough, Luke, leave before we reconsider this offer." Mitchell cut him off.

Luke hesitated, his sad, blue eyes looking at mine, before he walked away.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Louis' voice rang through my ears.

I have never felt more relieved before in my life, I'm so glad Louis decided to check on me.

"Louis! Help!" I shouted, struggling in Carter's hold.

Before Louis could take a step forward, Mitchell had hit his head with a bat. One moment, Louis was running towards me and the next his body is on on the floor.

What the hell?! Where'd he get a bat from?! I could've sworn they were empty handed. How the hell can no one hear this much noise?! I was literally screaming!

"Louis!" I shouted, before Carter covered my mouth.

The smell of alcohol filled my nose, making me grow sleepy. No, I can't pass out now. Louis needs serious medical attention, I have to help him.

I did my best to fight off my drowsiness, but couldn't for much longer. I watched as Louis and I were placed in a trunk of some sort, before I drifted off to sleep.
