-Aurora Jones' Point of View-

My heart fluttered at Harry's compliment, but my stomach dropped that it was used to offend someone else. I really do appreciate compliments, what girl doesn't? But I really didn't want to get involved in whatever reason these two were arguing for.

"Y-You don't have to be so rude." I mumbled, feeling Jennifer's glare burning holes into my back.

Harry rolled his eyes and scooted my chair closer to him, "Nonsense, it's not rude if the girl is just as mean to others. Is it?" He smiled.

He did have a point there, but I didn't know anything about Jennifer. I couldn't automatically assume she's what Harry said, so I had to say something that wouldn't offend Harry nor Jennifer.

I sighed, "It doesn't matter, Harry. I've just met both of you and already you're using me to insult her, I just think that wasn't necessary ...that's all." I spoke quietly, avoiding Harry's emerald eyes.

I wasn't use to talking back to people I don't know, especially if they were boys as attractive as he was, but this conversation would've gone a lot worst if I hadn't said anything.

"I like the way you think, Jones." I heard Jennifer speak, behind me.

I was still trying to keep my eyes from landing on either of them, so I just looked down at the table in front of me. I looked at Sabrina, Liam, and Niall for help, but they were too busy arguing about what sport is best to play in Baxter High. I hadn't even noticed another guy, who had blue eyes and brown hair, had sat beside Niall and was arguing away with them as well.

Jennifer, suddenly, shoved something towards me, "Here," she smiled, "It's an invitation for my party tonight. We're celebrating the tennis team's win, hope you can make it." She smiled before a black haired guy with brown eyes walked over to her and lead her out of the lunch room.

I waited for everyone in front of me to stop arguing, but it felt like they were never going to stop. I kept my head down, looking at the table and hoping Harry would just get bored and leave. Unfortunately, just because I brushed aside his compliment, that didn't mean he was going to leave me alone.

Just as I began to think Harry was going to leave, a hand suddenly grabbed my chin and turned me to face him. "So, you're invited to Jennifer's party. Great, I want you to be my date." He smiled.

Our faces were so close to each other, his minty breath hit my face. I could even smell the cologne he had on, such an amazingly, intoxicating smell. I finally understood why girls love hugging guys so much, they smell incredible.

I shook my head, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Date?" I asked, while Harry still held onto my chin.

He nodded, "What's the matter? You've never gone to a party before? Yeah, a date."

I shook my head, which still didn't make Harry release my chin, "No, I can't go to a party right now. It's barely my first day of school."

Sabrina finally realized what Harry and I were talking about and spoke up, "Harry, stop harassing my friend," she snapped. She, then, turned to face me, "You do realize today is a Friday, right? That means no school tomorrow, so you have to come to this party!" She squealed.

I had completely forgotten my parents decided I should go with them to their tours of New York the first four days before anything, it's weird how my parents chose getting to know the city over attending school.

I was trapped and I wasn't sure how I was going to get out of this one. My parents would never let me go to a party, especially not after my first day of school. They rarely let me go out back home, with people who I've known since I was in middle school.

"Come on, Jones, you're not planning on disappointing me are you?" Harry smirked.

I knew I shouldn't, but I was actually curious as to what kind of parties this particular school throws. I'll have to work hard to convince my parents, especially my dad. If he found out I've got a date to a party, let's just say he'll use his line of work to interrogate my date. Which actually doesn't sound so bad, considering how rude Harry is.

I smiled, "You know what? Alright, I'll go."

Harry smiled, "Lovely." He said, before grabbing my phone.

I noticed him type something and soon after, something in his pocket buzzed. "Text me your address and I'll pick you up at 8." He winked.
