Chapter 53 - Car Ride

Aurora Jones.

I woke up to my body jumping up for a split second then landing on something under me, "Ouch!" Louis' winced.

I quickly sat up, only to hit my head against something over me, "Ouch! What was that?!" I winced, looking up.

Louis sighed, "We're in the trunk of a car."

I noticed how cramped Louis and I were in here and the sound of an engine could be heard. As worried as I was of our situation, I was more worried for Louis. "Are you okay? I saw him hit you with a bat, are you bleeding?!" I asked, frantically checking his head.

"Aurora, I would appreciate it if you didn't move so much. Keep in mind that you're on top of me." He groaned, grabbing my wrists.

We were both laying down, only I was laying somewhat on top of Louis. I've never been fond of small spaces, but I guess having Louis here is what's keeping me calm.

"Sorry, I'm just worried." I mumbled.

He nodded, "It's alright, I'm fine. He didn't hit me that hard and it was a kids's bat, so it had some cushion."

I sighed, "No bleeding? How are you feeling?"

He shook his head, "No bleeding and I'm fine. I'm more worried about how Harry is going to react to this."

Now that I think of it, I hadn't even thought of Harry's reaction. Luke said something about the twins getting their money from Harry, so they'll probably call him and tell him they have Louis and I. This is not going to go well. I just hope he's able to calm himself down throughout this whole thing.

Harry Styles.

I was currently at Aurora's house, sitting with Tramp.

"Harry, visiting Tramp again?" Mrs. Jones smiled, walking in through the front door.

I nodded, "Of course, can't leave the little guy for too long or he'll miss me too much." I lied.

Yes, I did come to see Tramp, but I also came to wait for Aurora to get home. I realized that I wasn't ready to go to school, especially because I don't have enough patience to deal with Daisy, so I decided to come back here.

Being home would mean remembering my mother too much and or dealing with people coming to feel sorry for me, so I figured being at Aurora's house was best for me and it is.

"Do you want anything, dear? It'll be another hour or two before Aurora gets back from school!" Mrs. Jones called out from the kitchen.

"No thanks, Mrs. Jones, I'll take Aurora out to eat when she gets home." I smiled, petting the pup beside me.

"You've been hanging around a lot since yesterday, something going on between you and Aurora?" She smiled.

Aurora's mother was acting like I've been here for a long time, when I've only been here for a day. Since she smiled when she said that, I'm guessing she wants something to happen between Aurora and I?

I laughed, "Not yet, but I'm working on it." I winked.

Mrs. Jones squealed, "Yes! You don't know how much that girl loves you- Oops! I shouldn't have said that!"

Hearing Mrs. Jones say this made me happy. I already know Aurora loves me, but hearing her confirm it made my heart jump for joy... I mean if it were possible for a heart to jump for joy.

Before I could say anything else, Mrs. Jones walked, quickly, back into the kitchen. "Moms." I chuckled.

I, suddenly, felt my phone buzzing in my pocket. I slipped it out and noticed Aurora's picture appear, bringing a smile to my face. "Hey, babe, you doing alright at school?"

"So you two do have something on the side. Damn even with Daisy carrying your child, you still cheat on both of them." Carter's sick voice spoke.

My whole body went stiff and I could feel myself growing angrier and angrier as the seconds ticked by.

Questions began running through my head, why does he have Aurora's phone? How does he know about Daisy? What the fuck is going on?!

"Where the hell is she?!" I snapped.

I could hear shuffling in the background, "Let go of me!" I heard Aurora shout.

"You better-"

"Just listen to them, Jones! Harry will help us soon." Louis' voice shouted.

What the hell do these guys want with Aurora and Louis?! I know why Aurora is with them, but Louis?! He's never gotten involved with the twins... unless he was trying to help Aurora and the twins grabbed him too.

"Why do you have them?!" I shouted, angrily.

Carter laughed, "We were only going to take Aurora, but your little friend decided to play hero. We couldn't leave him to run and tell everyone, so he's here now." He smiled.

I wasn't sure why they started doing this now, don't they know when to give me a break?! I am, most definitely, not in the mood to play their little games. If they're calling me to go over there, I will not hesitate to beat the shit out of both of them again!

"Why are you doing this?! We haven't done anything to you!" I snapped, unable to control myself.

By now, I had walked outside and was leaning against my car. I couldn't let Mrs. Jones hear everything and alarm herself, so I had to talk with this bastard outside.

"Remember the party?" He asked, making me roll my eyes.

"That was a long time ago, jeez-"

He spoke up, cutting me off, "We lost product because of the bullshit you two pulled. That girl sweet, little Aurora Jones decided to help caused us product and money. Now, we're going to make sure you both pay for it."

I wasn't sure what the fuck he wanted me to do, but I wasn't going to let Aurora and Louis pay for what I did to them. Yeah, Aurora caused me to fight with them, but she shouldn't have to suffer for an honest mistake. She had no idea what she was doing, it was literally her first day and first party in New York.

"Go to the park at 12:00 AM, make sure to bring 850,000 dollars in cash. If you don't, your mate and girlfriend will be the ones to take the heat."

Money, that's what they want?! They found out I inherited my family's money and now they want a part of it?! I didn't think the twins were this desperate for money, especially with them being rich and all.

I really didn't want to give them any of my money, especially because of the work they do. Unfortunately, that was my only choice and I had to go through with it whether I wanted to or not. There's no way I'd let them hurt Aurora or Louis, so giving them the money is the only thing I could do.

I could hear Aurora screaming and Louis telling her to calm down. I wasn't sure what the hell was going on, but I wasn't going to waste any time.

I nodded, "Fine. I'll give you the money, just don't hurt them." I sighed, "Aurora had no idea what she was doing when she interfered with you and Louis was only trying to help her. If you so much as lay a finger on them, I swear I won't hesitate to beat the shit out of you again!" I shouted into the phone.
