Michael's P.O.V
Today is Thursday. Our gig is tomorrow. I started to panic and started pacing around my room.
I started to pull at my hair but then put on some music to calm me down. I reluctantly grabbed my computer and logged into YouTube. It probably didn't get any views. I checked my uploads and I was shocked at what I saw.
2.5k views. In less than a week. I started scrolling through all of the comments, reading all of them and replying to a few.
The boys and I had put covers of songs and a few of our own on YouTube. But those barely got a couple hundred views and a few likes and comments. We had fans. The other videos had over a thousand views and tons of comments.
Most of them saying 'Where are you from?' 'Omg you're Aussie' 'I'm from the US and I love your music' 'Why aren't you famous already?'
I smiled to myself as I read the comments over again. We're gaining fans like crazy. Our twitter has blown up with notifications from follows. We're finally doing it. Our fan base is growing, which means we might get discovered soon.
I see that Luke and Ashton just posted a video. I clicked on it and watched.
"Holy shit guys! You are all so amazing and I can't believe that we actually have fans! Especially from around the world." Ashton exclaimed.
"Yeah, thanks to Michael, the band is well known. The lyrics are all over social media and our fan base is growing. Thank you so much!" Luke said. They're both smiling and extremely happy. I smiled wider.
"So, for all of you here in Aus, we have our first gig! It'll be at the Annandale Hotel! Please come if you can!" Ashton basically yelled. Luke smacked him in the arm and I rolled my eyes.
They said bye to the camera and the video was over. I wasn't surprised at what I saw in the comments. 'Lashton af'. I started laughing hysterically. I bet they are dating. I wouldn't doubt it.

I decided to play my guitar for a little while when my mom came in. "Michael. I haven't talked to you in ages. You never come down to eat and right when you get home you run away. I miss you." She sat next to me on my bed and gave me a hug. "I just want to know if you're okay."
I nodded my head. "Yeah, mum. I'm fine. I just haven't had time. I have the band and I have school. Sorry." I was a little bit annoyed that she just barged into my room and I wanted her to leave.
She nodded her head and gave me a look that said 'you can talk to me' and she left. Before she closed the door she mumbled "I love you Michael."
I didn't want to say it back, but I did anyway. You never know when it's the last time you see someone. So tell them you love them when you can. And mean it. I sighed and put my guitar away.
I didn't want to think about Cassie but she stayed in my mind and wouldn't leave. It was torture. I needed to talk to someone. Luke and Ashton are probably watching Netflix and "chilling". I decided to go to Calum's. Nothing could happen right?
I mean, we're close again and I don't have to worry about him and Cassie. He straight up told me that he doesn't have feelings for her.
It's barely 4 pm. We didn't have school because of a stupid teacher day or whatever. I grabbed my keys and ran to my car.
Good Charlotte was playing and I barely let the lyrics fall from my mouth. I wasn't happy. I wasn't sad. But I was neutral. I was numb. Didn't really have feelings anymore. Unless I saw Cassie. That tore my heart apart.
