So I've been watching Cryaotic's stream of Crisis Core and dying, and also becoming very obsessed with the Final Fantasy VII guys. So, take some Zachary Fairchild, as I've been calling him for some weird reason, and most likely expect some Angeal, Genesis, Tseng or Cloud in the near future.

Also, I got about halfway through this and started struggling and not liking it too much, so apologies if it's bad. It also turned out very differently than what I planned (I wanted Zack just basically annoying the Reader for a date), and turned out a bit more serious than I planned...but oh well. Hope you like it.

You couldn't help but smile at Angeal's puppy as he fought. He was an adorable little Second Class that was for sure.

You were a First Class, along with Genesis, Angeal and Sephiroth. You were closer to the first two as you grew up with them in Banora. Sephiroth was alright, but he was often too...boring. He hardly spoke unless he was giving orders, so it made it difficult to hold a conversation.

Zack on the other hand was something else. He was hyperactive and (though you hated to admit it) occasionally quite annoying, but he was easy to talk to and probably one of the sweetest guys you've ever met. And that was saying something, considering you grew up with the honorable Angeal.

When the other First decided to become Fair's mentor, you often questioned why he chose him. He wasn't exactly the best fighter, and strategy was practically a foreign concept to him, the kid just rushing into any situation guns-blazing.

But the kid grew up (metaphorically, as you two were the same age) and he was well on his way to making First Class.

As of right now, you, Angeal and Zack were all on a mission in Wutai after being sent in by Lazard. You were hidden slightly, watching Zack take down the two monsters in the center of Fort Tamblin, observing his fighting style and totally NOT checking him out.

After the second monster fell you readied yourself to make yourself known to him, but you were interrupted by a crash.

Oh look, reinforcements, you thought to yourself as you watched another monster fall from the ceiling.

You continued to watch Zack handle the matter, though you held in a groan as he got cocky and circled the currently knocked out enemy, twirling his sword. What you couldn't hold back however, was the slight growl when you watched as the monster flung his hand and smacked Zack into a pillar, causing him to hold his head and collapse.

"Not...good," you head him pant.

"Nice try, buddy," you muttered as you drew your own weapon, rushing up to the monster that was now stalking towards Zack. In a matter of a few swings he was taken down.

"Zack, you alright?" you questioned calmly, approaching the Second Class and extending your hand to him.

"Uh, yeah," he said slowly, shaking off the hit and accepting your hand for you to help him up.

"You lost your focus," you commented lightly as the two of you walked around the monster, exiting the building. Your voice turned teasing as you said, "Imagine what Angeal will say when he learns you had to get a poor little girl to beat up the big bad monster for you."
