Angeal Hewley x Reader: My Guardian Angel

(Y/N) = Your Name, (E/C) = Eye Colour, (H/C) = Hair Colour

Many thanks to ShamanQueen (http://www.quotev.com/27994655) for requesting!! Angeal is one of my favourites from Crisis Core so this was great to do. :3 Because I can totally see him having a girl back home.

I tried not to make it too sad, though I did bring up some touchy subjects for him so apologies if that bothers you.

Disclaimer: I do not own Angeal or any Final Fantasy characters.

Enjoy!

You took in a deep breath, standing and looking over your small farm that you owned in Banora. You had several animals, livestock and such, but most importantly the many large Banora White trees your family was proud of growing.

You couldn't help but smile fondly as you remembered the countless times you, Genesis and Angeal would sit beneath those when you were kids. Here and Genesis' place, those were your usual hangouts.

But then you all grew up. Genesis and Angeal went on to SOLDIER, and you remained behind in your hometown, working as a teacher to some of the children here.

Genesis had long stopped visiting you, occasionally remembering to shoot you a message to check up. But you were always closer to the dark haired man, and it was him who always chose to keep in touch, visiting often and messaging you nearly every day. It was almost insulting, how often he checked up on you, as though you were incapable of handling yourself. But all the same, having Angeal around to protect you...well you were hardly complaining.

Yeah, to say you had feelings for the SOLDIER was putting it lightly. You were in love with the man, and he knew it too. You were thrilled to find out he felt the same, though neither of you ever really acted on it. He was usually on a mission, or closer to Shinra, while you were stuck in Banora...you would hold him back, and you knew it.

Still, that never faltered you friendship.

"You seem to be thinking hard," a soothing deep voice said from behind you.

"And you seem to be late," you responded, turning around to see the familiar hulking man in front of you, Buster Sword resting proudly behind him. "Welcome home," you enveloped him in a hug.

That was something else you loved about Angeal. He gave the best hugs. All strong and warm.

"Mission ran a little late," his deep baritone rang. "Sorry, (Y/N)."

You just chuckled and stepped away. "Who held it up?"

"Genesis was being-"

"Genesis," you finished for him.

He chuckled. "Yeah."

You just laughed fondly and walked into your house, Angeal trailing behind you.

"And how's Zack the Puppy?" you questioned, opening your fridge and grabbing two beers, chucking one to him.

"He's coming along," he shrugged. "He really wants to meet you."

"Bring him with you next time," you suggested.

"Mm," he hesitated jokingly. "I'm not sure I feel like sharing you."
