Khadgar x Reader: Late Night Conversation

Have another Khadgar. Sorry if you're waiting on a request. I have to get some of these ideas out first XD

I'm not sure how I feel about this one actually. It's also near midnight and I haven't edited this soo.

That being said, I do have a question. Would anyone want a full length Khadgar story? The script would be based off the movie (I have the novelized version so I could start before the movie is out on DVD) however I would likely make the main OC from another world. Maybe ours, maybe a similar one, maybe one completely different. All I know is that I'm not entirely knowledgeable on the WoW universe and I'm not certain I could make a believable OC from that world (of Warcraft) if that makes sense.

OR would you guys like a completely different story? I'm on a bit of a Ben Schnetzer kick, so I could easily start one for both The Riot Club and for The Book Thief. It's also not difficult for me to become invested in an entire other fandom, so it wouldn't take much persuasion for me to start something. However, the three listed would be preferable for me right now. I wouldn't be able to post often, what with an original story being in the works on top of the one shots, but I think I can manage for now.

Anyway, tell me what you guys think :)

You and Khadgar had been travelling together for several months now, him essentially following you around as you did odd jobs here and there, him practicing his magic and reading anything he could get his hands on along the way.

Over time you and the mage had gotten incredibly close. You learned of his time with the Kirin Tor, how he renounced his vows and had been travelling since, of what he did with his time, of some of his preferences and dislikes, and so on. In turn, he began to learn about you, your past, your family, your capabilities, and more.

You had begun to fall for the bookworm over time, slowly beginning to truly appreciate it when he went off on a tangent about something he studied, adoring the glint in his brown eyes when he was lost in thought, grinning any time that his hair, so much like feathers, was left in a messy disaster on his head.

Khadgar's feelings for you, on the other hand, hit him nearly all at once from the minute he spotted you across the room at the tavern. He was drawn to you in a way he couldn't explain, attracted to everything from your intelligent eyes to the strength he felt in you. He knew it was stupid, following you for 3 days without even saying a thing to you, but in the end it worked out and gave him even more time to fall deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole.

So with all this being said, what would the problem be?

Communication.

See, you and the mage didn't have much trouble speaking, if any; however the pair of you had no true idea how to bring anything up without causing a rift, each of you unsure if the feelings were mutual or not.

And so the unspoken thoughts sat there, simmering, laying in wait until they boiled over and made themselves known.

The night that happened to occur was different. Something...well, several things were in the air, which resulted in an overall atmosphere. The circumstance that you and the mage were in wasn't helping much.
