Qrow Branwen x Reader: Old Friends

A/N: Thank you so much to A DayDream's Nightmare (Quotev)  for requesting this. I was really hoping someone would request the sexy beast that is Qrow soon, or if they didn't I would just write one anyways XD

This is shit, and I'm sorry if Qrow is OOC

(Y/N) = Your Name.

Disclaimer: I'm sure we all know the drill, but I do not own RWBY, it's characters, its plotline, blah blah blah.

Your shoes clicked across the floor quietly as you entered the Crow Bar, the place relatively empty considering that the Vytal Festival was considering. Places like this tended to fill up insanely, everyone drinking and laughing and watching the fights. But today there were only a few people in the corner and a man at the front at the street-side bar. Mind you, it was a small place, but it was almost eerie seeing how empty it was.

Oh well, more alcohol for you.

"Something strong," was all you sighed to the mustached bar tender, glancing at the screen portraying a match before placing your head in your hands.

It had been a long day. Students were fighting and getting into trouble, you ran into your ex who was giving you hell, and you were being discriminated and hated on because of your fox Faunus features. Now that last one was pretty normal, but it really bothered you now that people were starting to associate yourself with-

"I didn't realize White Fang members were allowed in here," a man in the back of the bar shot at you.

You just groaned. "Listen buddy, it's been a shit day and I don't want any trouble."

"So you're not going to deny that you're a part of those flea-infested animals?" he taunted.

You growled and turned around, just as a gravely male voice spoke up.

"Why don't you fuck off and leave the lady alone, huh?" he said, causing shock to flow through you. No one had spoken up for you like that in a long time.

"And who the hell do you think you are?" The asshole said indignantly.

                "A decent person. Now leave."

The first man stood up, looking ready to throw a few punches, when the bartender slid you your drink and stepped in.

                "No fighting in my bar."

The man looked at you one last time in disgust, before turning around and leaving. The small group he had been sitting with stood up and left with him.

"And I've cost you your customers," you sighed, banging your head on the counter before looking up to the bar tender. "I'm sorry Hun, I'll drink enough for all of them to make up for it."

This caused laughter out of the bar tender and the man who had defended you.

"No worries, they were horrible anyway, picking on you just because of your ears."

"I'm used to it," you sighed, taking a swing of your drink. He gave you a sympathetic look before turning away, going to clear the tables in the back.

"Thanks for that," you spoke up, turning yourself to face the man who helped you out, observing him. There was something oddly familiar about his dark hair and red eyes, his clothing and his cape. But it was when he chuckled and threw back a drink before shooting you that annoying little smirk that you realized...
