Chapter 32 - Lost in him

Violetta's POV

Another day is done! My classes finished and I am all free to go!

I walked out of my last class when I received a text.

It was from Leon.

"Hello beauty, wanna go on a picnic now that your classes are done?" The text wrote

"Of course!" I sent back.

Oh my, I'm going on a picnic with Leon! I'm so happy! I can't even imagine what he could prepare!

I was smiling like crazy, and people gave me weird looks, but I didn't care.

My smile faded away when I saw Tomas coming to me smiling.

"Hey hey! Why are you smiling to me so wide?" He asked

To him? He thought I am so happy for him? He can't be serious!

"I'm not smiling at you Tomas! How could you think that?" I asked him

His face dropped

"Well, I guess I did..." He said

OMG he indeed believed that I was smiling to him!

"Anyways, will you hang out with me now?" He asked

Oh no! I said that we would hang out today! But I can't, and I won't cancel Leon's plans.

"Oh erm...sorry Tomas but I'm going on a picnic with...Leon" I said to him as he looked sadder.

Well, I guess he didn't move on yet.

"Oh...that's ok..." He said

"I'm sorry Tomas, I promise that tomorrow we will hang out" I said to him even if I didn't want to.

"Okay then. Thanks. Have fun!" He said still sad and walked away

So, tomorrow I'm going to hang out with Tomas. Well, it can't be so bad.

I sent Leon a message.

"Where can I meet you?"

He replied a minute later

"I'm right behind you" The text wrote.

I turned around to see Leon there, holding his phone.

I smiled and walked to him. He returned the smile.

"Hello Leon" I said cheerful

"Hey beauty. Shall we go?"

"We shall" I said and we walked together.

He took me at a park, where no one else was there.

"This place is so peaceful, Leon" I said looking around

"Yes, indeed" He said

"How and you decided to come here?" I asked him

"Well, just a normal walk led me to this place and I understood that it's special. And I wanted to share it with you"

"Aww that's so sweet! Thanks!" I said and smiled

"Anytime" He said and smiled back

Leon led me to the place he set up the picnic. There was a blanket and a basket. It was in the middle of a park, on the grass, and you could look at the sky and enjoy the wonderful place around you.

My smile became wider at the sight of this. He found this place and led me here, just because I mean so much to him? Does he really love me that much?

We sat on the blanket

"Thanks, Leon. I really love what you did"

"I'm glad you do, because it's all for you" He said looking at me

"You are always so sweet" I said

"And you are always so beautiful" He said and I instantly blushed

"Do you know how pretty you are when you blush?" He asked me

That made me blush even more. He has so much affect on me. And I can't deny it. I love him.

"Oh Leon, I love this place"

"Me too. It is a place, perfect to remember things you don't want to forget..." He said

"Yeah, I agree" I said

"Come on, let's eat" He said

He took out the food of the basket and we ate it.

After a while, we finished. The sun was now down from the west, and you could see the stars on the sky.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He asked

"Yeah, it is"

"It reminds me of that day, that we had so much fun" He said

I closed my eyes. Flashbacks from my and Leon's "Date" came into my mind. I smiled at the thought of that. But my smile faded away at the end of the night

"I'm sorry I left you, Leon. That day. I didn't want to. I just...did it. I don't know why" I said

"I totally understand. I would do the same. I know you want to forget what Ludmila did, and I can wait 'till the end of my life to get you back. You mean so much to me" He said

"Leon, when I'm ready, you should know that I will be happy to have you back"

"And I'll be happy to have you back too" He said

I smiled

"You know Violetta...there is something I want to do from the first day I met you..." He said and looked at me.

"And...what is it?" I asked

"This" He said

He leaned in. And so did I. Maybe this can be the time. Of my first kiss. I can do it. And then maybe I will be ready.

He grabbed my hand. I hold it tight. Our faces came closer and closer by every second.

I felt like my heart was pounding a million times a second, ready to feel his lips on mine.

I was waiting for the kiss. Our noses touched. I could feel his hot breath on my neck. And then, the moment our lips were about to touch...

Like the last time, my phone rang.

Me and Leon pulled away. I picked my phone up.

"Hello?" I said

"Violetta! It's almost 10! Where are you?" My dad shouted from the other line

"Dad, first, I'm 17, I can come later at home, and second, what's the problem? I'm with Leon" I said

"Leon? What are you doing with Leon? Did something happened?" He shouted

"Thanks to you, nothing" I mumbled

"What did you say?"

"Nothing, I'm coming home" I said

"Quickly come here!" He said

"Bye dad" I said and hung up.

Ugh! He can be so annoying sometimes!

I looked at Leon

"Did you heard him?" I asked him

"Yeah, I did" He said

"Today was wonderful Leon" I said and smiled

"Glad you liked it" He said and smiled back

"I have to go now. See ya tomorrow!" I said

"Goodnight beauty" He said

I gave him a quick hug and left

Well, today was one amazing day. I had the best picnic in my whole life, with the best person in it!
