Thank you for all the lovely comments! I'm going to write about Grace's arrival tomorrow,
sorry I didn't post yesterday, I had to be at dance at 4:30 till 7 so I didn't have much time to write.

It was the day Grace was due to arrive, and Connie couldn't wait. She had decorated Grace's room, she painted it (herself) light blue and had bought her some presents. The latest iPhone and a pair of Laboutin shoes, she couldn't resist spoiling her daughter rotten!

Connie and Jacob had agreed not to tell anyone about Connie's pregnancy until after their first scan, which was this morning, as they wanted to make sure that everything was ok before blurting it out. The only person they would tell was Grace, when she arrived home.

Grace was due to arrive at the airport at 2:30pm, just enough time for the pair to get there after Connie's first scan. Connie slipped on her favourite dress and her signature Laboutins. Connie's bump wasn't that visible, although to herself, she could see it. Connie walked out of her wardrobe, with a glum look on her face.

"Why so glum, chum?" Jacob teased as he hugged Connie.

"I look so fat!" Connie exclaimed.

"You look gorgeous babe, don't think any different. You are not fat, that is our gorgeous child starting to grow." Jacob said as he put his hands on her stomach.

"Well he or she would be very lucky to get your looks, they'd pull all the girls or boys!" Connie flirted.

Jacob kissed her, his hands still on her stomach.

"Are you coming then?" Jacob asked, walking towards the door. Connie followed and drove to the hospital.

The pair went in a back entrance and up to the maternity ward, they didn't want any of their friends seeing them going up there. They waited patiently until Connie's name was called. They entered the room hand in hand, both extremely nervous.

"Hi Connie I'm Marge and I will be your midwife during your pregnancy." Marge seemed very kind, which comforted Connie.

Marge put the jelly on Connie's stomach, she winced, even though she knew it would be cold, it still made her jump!

As a faint bleeping came from the tiny screen, Connie and Jacob were mesmerised. Their own child, was on the screen in front of them. This child was both of theirs, they couldn't believe their eyes.

"So it looks absolutely fine, no complications, would you like to know the gender of your baby? It's a little early but I think he or she is lying in the right position." Marge asked.

The couple nodded simultaneously. Marge looked at the screen for a while, before turning round to face Jacob and Connie.

"I'm pleased to announce that you will be expecting a baby boy." Marge exclaimed.

Connie and Jacob had massive grins on their faces, they couldn't wait to see him, and make many happy memories, as a family.

They picked up a few photos, to show to Grace and drove home, arguing playfully over baby names.
