I was pulled out of the cafeteria, into a hallway, then he pulled me into a janitor's closet. (Don't get any ideas you dirty minded savages)
"I don't see what is so bad about him!" I was fired up and ready to punch him if I had to, even though it would probably hurt my hand more than him.
"He is violent Akumu, he might hurt you!"
"When is he ever violent, if anything I should be watching out for you!"
Akashi lifted his shirt revealing his side. There was a large bruise about the size of a fist on his upper hip. My eyes widened in shock.
"He would do th-"
"Akumu. Listen to me. I don't know what you two ever had, or any relationships, but he changed. He's scary and could harm you! He is reeling you in slowly, then who knows what he would do to you when he finally has you!"
"Why are you making these lies! He wouldn't do such a thing, and even if this was true, how would you know!"
Akashi lowered his shirt and sighed.
"He confronted me and we had this discussion. It turned into a fight within minutes and he said some bad things. I managed to beat him up pretty good so he probably learned his lesson, but just please keep your distance from him."
I didn't know what to think of this. Is this some joke, Kenta is the sweetest person I know. I can't believe this, I refuse to believe it.
"You're lying," I whispered looking at the ground.
"Akumu, I swear it he-"
"You're lying!" I shoved him but he didn't budge and I ran out of the closet. I sprinted out the closest exit I could find, my vision blurred by tears. I didn't hear footsteps behind me so I believe he didn't follow me. I kept running farther and farther away from the festival until I got lost.
(Cliché I know I'm sorryyyyy)
I was surrounded by small shops, probably on the north side of our town. I wiped my eyes and found an alleyway where I curled up on the ground breathing deeply.
I don't know who to believe. Kenta has been my friend for forever... And Akashi... Do I even consider him a friend? He is probably just tricking me with his mind games he plays.
I closed my eyes and rest my chin on my knees sniffing and biting my lip to stop the tears.
Maybe if I lie here and fall asleep I will wake up back at my house, not Akashi's, with my parents again. Maybe they would come back to me and save me from this mess.

I fluttered my eyes open to someone gently poking at my shoulder. I looked up to see the figure. I didn't freak out because I instantly knew who it was. I got up from the ground and wrapped my arms tightly around his firm chest.
"Kenta," I began to sob. He wrapped his arms around me rubbing my back.
"What's wrong?" He felt so warm and friendly with his hugs I didn't want to let go.
"A-Akashi is making lies about you!" I buried my head in his chest.
"Shhh," he held me for a little longer then whispered, "It's okay, here lets go home." Kenta picked me up and started carrying me. I forgot his house was not too far from here and he always passes these shops to get home. On the way there I slowed my sobs into quiet sniffles.
"You can stay here for tonight, okay?" He set me down in front of the door. I nodded and he unlocked the door to the small house. Once I stepped inside I was welcomed by a sweet smell of apple cinnamon. Everything was so organized and there was fall decorations on shelves and countertops.
"Do you want to borrow one of my tee shirts?" He asked as I continued to look around then I focused onto him and nodded. He left and came back with a large, green tee shirt on his. I fleeted to the bathroom and changed. I came out and rubbed my reddened eyes yawning.
"Are you tired? It's getting late," Kenta asked me.
"Mmhm," I nodded.
"I don't have an extra bed, so I guess you are sleeping with me... If that's okay."
I nodded again and he led me into his room. I crawled onto his bed and got under the covers. This bed was soft, but not as soft as Akashi's. I closed my eyes and Kenta got on the other side.
I began to think of Akashi. He was wrong about Kenta, he is doing nothing wrong. My thought was interrupted by an arm being wrapped around me. I was startled at first then I voice spoke making me even more scared.
"Akumu, you really are helpless."
