2012- The End of the Earth

Chapter Five

*A few moments later*

After a few minutes I knew we had to go or the walkers would come soon. I didn't want to take any chances and I thought it would be easier to kill them in smaller towns.

"Sorry to break this up but we should leave soon. I'm surprised that they didn't get you yet." I said. The two girls just stared at me blankly and I sighed. Then I grabbed everyone and teleported back to our little town. I grabbed Eleanor and Danielle's hands and closed my eyes to try and give them some of my power. I still had that power but I gave them some powers. I gave them flying, healing, force fields, and better hand-to-hand fighting. I had just finished giving them their new abilities when two people tackled me to the ground.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?" Louis yelled.

"I GAVE THEM SOME POWERS TO PROTECT THEMSELVES!" I screamed back at him. The two boys paused, looked at me and then looked at their girlfriends who raised their eyebrows.

"Oh." Liam and Louis got off me and I shot myself up with earth bending and floated down using air bending.

"Yeah. Oh." I grumbled. I made an arrow come out of thin air and shot a thing behind Louis. The zombie fell down and Louis flinched. The two girls gaped at the fallen body and turned to Liam and me for an explanation.

"Right, er... A lot happened to us Eleanor and Danielle. We got powers, zombies took over the world and we need to save the human race... well, that's what Sam said." Liam said.

            "H-how do you know for sure?" Eleanor asked cautiously.

"Well, seeing how I found you half way across the world with a stomp of my foot and a lot of focus, I’d say it’s pretty accurate. Plus we just saw a few of those... things around. So, I'm pretty sure our world is dead unless we can kill this disease." I told them calmly and pointed to the dead body. I then grabbed my bow and arrow and shot something behind Eleanor.

"Please, everyone put your guard up! We have to be careful. Can you guys use a gun?" I asked them. They looked at each other in a panic before shaking their heads.

"N-No..." Eleanor stuttered.

"Too bad. You take the safety out and then shoot with the trigger. Don't put your thumb near the bullet hole things... It could take your thumb off. Just pull the trigger and don't hurt yourself." I said to them pulling 2 guns out of nowhere to hand to them and showed them how to shoot.

"Now, I suggest everyone to put their guard up because I think that I see a group of monsters coming for us." I said pointing behind the boys. The girls looked as pale as ghosts and gulped. And when the boys turned around their eyes balls looked like they were going to pop out and they twitched.

"T-T-That's n-n-not a-a g-group... T-T-That’s more l-l-like a hundred z-z-zombies." Niall stammered. We all nodded as we looked closer at the oncoming group.

"We need to be in the air." I said and then flew up and helped the two girls fly up as well. I let go of them and they started to float on their own. Then I looked down and saw that the others were frozen in fear so I lifted them up with air. I was sinking a little because of all the people I was holding up and I was becoming tired of all of my power use.

"GUYS! USE YOUR STUPID POWERS!" I screamed sinking lower and lower. They snapped out of it and they started to float on their own with their powers and I floated back up. Nina was dropped down and started to shoot her ninja stars everywhere. She ran around quickly and shot them as fast as she could while dodging the arms that were trying to grab her. She then used daggers to hit them. She had an endless supply of daggers and ninja stars because of a spell I put on her bag. She also had a force field up so we wouldn’t hurt her. Her force field was selectively permeable; things could go out but things couldn’t go in... Well that's not really the definition of selectively permeable; but oh, well.

"Is it just me or are more and more coming?" Harry asked. He was standing on a floating rock... Nina must have sent one up to him.

"Umm. I don't think that's just you." I said slowly. I then floated down to Nina and grabbed her and a chunk of rock. I put her on the rock and had her float with us.

"SAM! I was doing awesome! Why did you do that?" Nina yelled at me.

"More are coming! Shoot from above." I told her then went to shoot more arrows. She turned, saw what I was talking about and then gathered more weapons to throw. "Guys! Back up!" I told them. They looked at one another and then backed away. I grabbed an arrow from my boot. These arrows were special... Like Hawk Eye’s, they had a certain purpose. This one was an explosion. I shot it in the middle of the group and floated away quickly. But I guess I wasn’t quick enough. The explosion was huge and killed almost all of the zombies. The others were far enough that they didn't get hurt; the explosion pushed them all back a little, but I on the other hand, was closer and then got flung towards them. I couldn't control my powers because I was panicking. All I was doing was screaming and flapping my arms, which didn’t do much. Then I stopped and started flying... I think. I was on something and looked down. Oh. It's only Niall and his glider. He took me to the cliff that Zayn and Nina made. I got off his glider and smiled at him.

"Thanks..." I said.

"No problem. No one gets left behind." Niall said. Lucy was glaring at me, but nodding vigorously. She loves Niall.

"I told you, you can leave me behind... But still, thanks a lot." I said hugging them.

"We really haven't introduced ourselves yet so, I'm Sam." I told the 2 newer girls.

"I'm Eleanor, but call me El." The taller one said.

"And I'm Danielle, but call me Dani." The shorter girl said.

"I'm Lucy."

"I'm Nina."

"And I'm Nat."After the small introductions, we started to chat a little. 

"Hey since we are already here... We should camp here tonight. I think we cleared the zombies in this town." I said.

"We should sleep here tonight." Nat said. Nina, Zayn, and I made the rock/cliff bigger. It went straight up so the zombies couldn’t get us. I got the camping tents, and grew some trees near our cliff. Niall and I cut some of the branches while Lucy and Louis were catching the limbs to build a fire. I regrew the plant limbs for fruit (It was a fruit plant: Apple, pears, oranges, etc.) to eat in the morning. Harry made the fire while Lucy, Nat, and Liam made 3 buckets of water to put out the fire later. I was tired after a long, long day. I started to rest my head on someone's shoulder while we were around the campfire. I really didn’t care whose it was; I was just so tired!

"What are you doing, Sam?" Harry asked. I would have rolled my eyes but they were closed and I was exhausted.

"Resting. So please, sshhh." I said. "Ow, your shoulder is boney." I said then I laid my head on his lap.
