"Seungri? Seungri oppa? Where are you now?" Gabriella asked over the phone.
"I'm working jagiya. I'm going to be home late tonight." Seungri answered.
"Okay, bye oppa. Love you." She said.
"Bye." He immediately shut it off. Gabriella sighed as she got up from the couch she was sitting on. Recently, Seungri had been ignoring her. She walked to the mirror in the bathroom. What had changed about her? Still the same S-line... same face, except there were dark circles under her eyes from the late nights when she would stay up to wait for Seungri.
"Nothing's wrong." She tried to assure herself.
~Several Hours Later (Around 12:00 AM)~
"Is it really necessary for him to stay out until 12?" Gabriella muttered to herself. "Maybe it's time to break up..." She said as she sighed. "Maybe he's not the right one..." Then the door opened.
"Jagiya? I'm home!" Seungri yelled. Gabriella got up from the couch.
"Hey oppa. How's work?" She said as she forced a smile.
"Same old. I'm tired. I'm going to go shower and sleep." He said as he walked off.
Gabriella watched his retreating profile. "It's time." She convinced herself.
~The Next Morning~
"Morning oppa." Gabriella said as Seungri walked into the kitchen.
"Hey jagi. I got to go." He said as he went to go grab his shoes.
"Do you want to eat something before you go?" She asked, trying to care.
"No. I'm going to be late." He said, as he quickly got ready to leave.
"Oppa..." She said as she gathered her courage to tell him.
"Yeah?" He looked up at her.
"I'm breaking up with you..." She said.
"Yes? Sorry. I'm coming. Yes, I'll be there in 15 minutes." Seungri said. Gabriella looked up completely confused. "What did you say? Sorry I got a phone call. I really have to go. We'll talk about when I get home okay?" He said as he ran out.
"If I'm even here when you get home." She muttered under her breath.
~After Work (Around 11:00 PM)~
"Gabriella didn't even call me... that's odd..." Seungri thought to himself as he went to grab the keys. "Whatever. She probably fell asleep." Seungri said, shrugging it off. He walked into the house. It was completely dark. "Jagiya? Jagi? Are you here? Gabriella?" Seungri yelled, but there was no answer. He walked into all the rooms, trying to see if she had fallen asleep anywhere. "Where on earth is she?" He walked into their bedroom, the last room, and found that all her stuff was gone and there was an envelope sitting on the bed. In the envelope was a letter and a ring. Seungri pulled out the letter first, reading it slowly.
'Dear Seungri,
By the time you read this, I'll probably be gone. That is if you get home at the same time that you normally do now... You always come home at around 11 PM and there's no time for me. I don't want to sound clingy or anything, but if I, or we, want this relationship to work, we need to work together and there needs to be time for me as well. But everyday, it's just work, for you. I'm neglected and I'm starting to think that you've been cheating on me... That maybe I wasn't the right one. That you and I just weren't meant to be. I'm sorry, I love you and thank you for three wonderful years in my life.
Your "Jagiya", Gabriella'
He pulled out the ring. It was the promise ring he had given her on their third anniversary. "No... Gabriella..." He murmured. "I'm sorry..." He whispered as tears began to fall down his face. "Please come back..."
~The Next Morning~
Seungri awoke to a quiet house. "Jagiya?" He called out, but there was no answer. Then it hit him. His "jagiya" was gone. He walked over to the letter and the ring which he had dropped on the floor last night. He picked up the letter and threw it on the desk. It fell with the back facing up. "What's that?" He said as he saw writing on the back.
"If you really want to try again, come to Chloe's house. I'll be waiting there. But I will only be there until tomorrow. The day after, if you don't show up, I will leave to China."
Seungri dropped the letter, grabbed the ring and ran off. "Wait Gabriella. I'm coming." He said as he got in the car and drove off.
~When He Reaches Chloe's House~
Seungri rushed out of the car and ran to the doorbell, ringing it like a madman. Chloe opened the door. "What do you want?" She asked irritated. It was around 9 AM but it was the weekend so she was sleeping in.
"Gabriella." He said as he walked in. Gabriella was sitting on the couch, watching t.v... except anybody with eyes could tell she wasn't really paying attention. Her eyes were read and puffy and there were dark circles under them. Her hair was a disheveled mess and she was curled up into a ball just staring blankly at the t.v. When she heard Seungri's voice, she looked over.
"Oppa." She turned back to the t.v.
"Jagiya. Please come back. I'm sorry." Seungri begged. She sighed.
"What if you break me again?" She asked. She was in a fragile state.
"I won't. I promise." Seungri said. "Please come back." She sighed.
"I don't know..." She sighed.
"You said in the letter, if I wanted to try again that I should come here. And I did. Please give me one more chance. I promise you I won't blow it again." Seungri pleaded. Gabriella nodded as Seungri pulled her into a hug. She began to sob. "I'm so sorry." He whispered over and over again. When they finally pulled away, Seungri ran his thumb over her dark circles. "Why didn't I notice these before?" He muttered.
"I'm fine oppa." Gabriella said as she pulled his hand away from her eyes.
"I know... but if I had come home earlier you wouldn't have these..." He frowned.
"It's okay though oppa. Because it won't happen again right?" Gabriella asked pulling him into a hug.
"Never again." He agreed as he kissed the top of her head.
