***Guess who's birthday it was yesterday?????? ;) Enjoy!***
Jin, wearing his usual poker face, watched the girl laugh with her friends, always wearing a smile. She would greet the teacher's with a smile, her friend's with a smile and even her enemies with a smile. He wondered how she did it, why she had no problems in her life, why she was so carefree. He was jealous of her, she who could always wear a smile, while he never smiled. He was jealous of her perfect life. So one day, Jin decided to approach her.
It was after school, when Hannah was getting ready to walk home. Despite the numerous friends she had, she always walked home alone and she never invited anybody to her house. Sehun walked up to her, while she was laughing with some of her other friends before leaving. "Hannah." He said. She turned around, her eyes widening when she saw who it was.
"Hello Jin-ssi." She smiled, giving him a small bow.
"Can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked. She looked over to her friends who gestured to go with him.
"Sure no problem." She walked off with him. "So what do you want?" She smiled sweetly at him.
"How?" Jin asked.
"How what?" She looked confused for a minute, but her smile soon appeared.
"How do you keep smiling? Don't you have your bad days? I'm so jealous. You have a perfect life, friends, happiness anything you want." He admitted.
"What makes you think my life is perfect?" Hannah asked, still smiling, but her smile held some bitterness.
"I- You're always smiling." Jin stuttered.
"That's just a cover up. I smile so no one asks." She said, losing her smile. "Don't tell anyone okay?" She walked past him and left. Jin stood there, confused. What was she hiding?
~The Next Day Around 7~
Hannah was sitting at the park, under her favourite tree, sobbing. Jin happened to be walking in that park as well when he heard the sobs of a girl. Walking around to find out who it was, he was astounded to see Hannah crying. He sat down beside her, and awkwardly pulled her into a hug. Once she stopped sobbing, Jin pulled away to look at her in the eyes but she looked down. "Hey." He held her chin up. "Smile." Then he noticed the bruises on her face, covered by make-up that had been washed away while she cried. Lightly he ran his thumb over her bruises. "What happened?"She looked away and didn't answer. "Hannah..." He said sternly.
"It doesn't involve you." She finally said. "Thanks, but you can't help me with this." She pulled away from Jin and left. Jin watched her walk away, but then he noticed that she wasn't very steady. Suddenly, she crumpled to the ground.
"Hannah!" He ran over to her, checking to see if she was okay. Then he noticed the large, still growing, spot of blood on her leg. "Oh gosh." He pulled out his phone, quickly dialing for an ambulance.
~At the Hospital~
"Where am I?" Hannah groaned as she opened her eyes. The last thing she remembered was walking away from Jin in the park, and then she ended up in here.
"Hannah!" Jin exclaimed. "How are you feeling?"
"Where am I?" She asked again.
"In the hospital. You passed out in the park so I brought you here." Jin explained.
She flushed. "Oh thanks. But I'm fine." She tried to get out of bed, then she noticed the bandage around her leg. "What happened here?"
"I should be asking you that." Jin smiled. "It was bleeding really bad."
