***Well I lied way back when I said there were 50 one shots here. There are actually 56 XD***
Brianna stared at the paper in her hand, slowly crumpling it, her hand shaking. Then she punched the steering wheel hard, breaking down into tears.
~Two Days Later~
"Oppa." Brianna said facing Kai's back.
"Yes Bri?" He said sweetly, not turning away from what he was doing.
"I want to break up." She said. Kai turned around abruptly.
"What did you say Bri?" Kai asked.
"I want to break up." She repeated.
Kai almost laughed. "Is this a joke? Or a dare? Because this isn't funny Bri..."
She sighed, running her hand through her hair. "I, Brianna Lu, want to break up with you Kim Jongin." She said firmly. Then she turned around to leave. Kai attached his arms around her waist, not wanting to let go.
"Wait Bri. Please. Tell me what happened. Did I do something wrong?" He asked tearfully, pressing his head against her back. Tears began to brim in her eyes. She turned around, and found Kai on his knees. "Please don't leave Bri. Please." He begged. The tears began to spill as she put her hand on his head, running it through his hair.
She looked at him, who now had his head pressed her head against his stomach. "I'm sorry Kai." She whispered as she pressed a kiss to his head. "I have to do this." She let him go, and walked off.
"Bri! Brianna!" Kai screamed. She didn't look back.
~Three Days Later~
"I'm sorry Brianna. But you have two months at the max if you don't do the surgery." The doctor told her. Bri nodded. She had expected that. "But if you do the surgery, it will prolong your life by about two years." Bri sighed. For about one month now, she knew that she was dying of cancer. Five days ago, she had been told that it had gotten worse. Now she was being told that if she didn't do surgery, then she would die within two months.
"I'll think about it." She finally said. The doctor nodded.
"Better not take long though. It's better if we do the surgery sooner." Bri nodded and grabbed her stuff to go. On her way out, she bumped into somebody. "I'm sorry." She bowed.
"Bri?" The guy she bumped into said.
She looked up and saw Sehun. "Oh hey oppa!" She pulled her lips up into a smile.
"Bri." Sehun frowned. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh nothing. Just a check-up." She waved her hand in the air.
"Where's Kai hyung?" He asked, looking around. Bri looked away.
"Um...He and I...Um...I...Broke up with him..." She said.
"Why?" Sehun immediately asked. "Does it have anything to do with why you're here, having a check-up?" He asked. "And what's that paper in your hand?" He pointed to a folded sheet of paper in her hand.
"Nothing. Just some prescribed medicine." Bri excused it.
"For what? Can I see it?" He asked reaching his hand out.
No!" Bri yelped taking it away.
Sehun frowned. "What's in there that you're hiding?"
"Nothing." She said. "I need to go now excuse me." She said trying to walk past Sehun. But he grabbed the paper.
