"Calum can you hand me the frosted flakes on your way out?" Luke raises his head from the kitchen table only to beg Calum and then put his head back down. Calum, who was walking out of the kitchen with a full bowl of lucky charms, rolled his eyes.
"get it yourself, I wanna watch doc McStuffins" (same calum) now Luke rolled his eyes and got up to grab the box of cereal.
"a good boyfriend would have got it for me!" he shouted at Calum's retreating figure as he poured his tri-daily (if thats a word idk) bowl of frosted flakes.
"Luke if you don't shut up-" Luke himself walked into the living room and sat on the couch across from the tv. The brown eyed boy cut himself off as he found the tv remote (which wasn't at all hidden) and plopped down in triumph and raised the remote to turn the channel from the news to Doc McStuffins when Luke's attention was caught by something on the tv.
Luke grabbed Calum's hand, not allowing him to change the channel as he listens closely to the TV while Calum looks at him like he's insane.
"Luke? are you feeling alright babe? you never wanna watch the news, it's a little concerning-" Luke covered Calum's mouth with the palm of his hand and continued to listen to the news report.
"-and that act prompted the supreme court to make same sex marriage legal in all 50 states-" Luke's eyes widened and turned to Calum, who's eyes were also widened and looking back at him.
"AHHHHH" they both looked at each other and jumped up and down on the couch screaming their hearts out. they're going to get so many noise complaints from the apartments below and above them but right now they were too happy to care.
"Luke we can get married now!" Luke jumped on to Calum and sent them both falling into the couch in a fit of giggles.
"I will most definitely marry you" Luke leaned down and planted a kiss on calum's lips before sitting up on Calum's chest and reaching for his phone.
"Luke you know I didn't actually just propose to you right? I was just-"Luke silenced him by placing a finger to his lips, not taking his eyes off his phone.
"shhh, I'm texting my mom were engaged"
Calum rolled his eyes and Luke could hear a muffled "Luke!" from under his fingers
