Maice wrapped the apron around herself, as Yen tied it. "You know, you don't have to work, it's your first day back!" He said, tightening the knot. "So? It's fun! Behind the counter, or on the dance floor! Have you forgotten who your talking to?" They laughed. "I wish my dad could see us now." She said, starting to count the money. "He'd be very proud of you, Maice. Very proud." Yen assured her. They started pouring drinks for customers, and Maice said hi to old friends, Tilly did the same, just with more pettings. "So, what happened?" Yen asked. "Yen, be more specific, you know I hate short questions." Maice said, washing off some glasses. "I forgot that one, what happened to you, ya know, when you disappeared?" Maice looked up at him and splashed him with water. "The military found me. Somehow they got the information." She said, drying the glass. "I'm a state alchemist now. But I was forced to. So, don't worry, it wasn't my choice." Maice finished. "Any enemies at your new work?" Yen smiled. "Has there been one I liked?" She giggled. "Well, I guess I shouldn't say that. One or two of them I'm fine with." Maice set the glasses back up in the pantry then faced Yen. He swooped her up and ran to the dance floor. "What are you doing?" She shouted, over the whoops, and music. "It's the owners turn to dance!" He said, setting her down in the middle. She laughed, and said, "You know what song I want Awlin!" Her song was turned on and the crowd started to clap as she danced to the music. "Come on! Everyone!" She shouted, a quarter into the song. Everyone joined in, and Yen danced with her and Bull until four alarming sounds broke the joy. "What? Was that a gun?" Maice wondered. Bull whispered in her ear. "Stay here, I don't want you hurt." Maice tried to get through but everyone forced her to stay in the middle. All she could do, was listen.
"Hey! No guns allowed in Andrews bar!" Maice heard Bull say. "We are apart of the military. We are-" Bull cut him off. "That doesn't matter. Drop your guns, only the owner can have one." He said, demandingly. "May we speak with the owner?" The man asked. "You are." Bull said. "Then you won't mind if we search the area, would you? If we find anything to indicate you were helping who we are looking for, you will go to prison." Maice couldn't keep her mouth shut. "LEAVE THEM OUT OF THIS ROY!" She shouted. The crowd expanded, leaving Maice in the middle. Bull and Yen stood next to her.  "Just go, away." She huffed. Roy walked forward, and Yen and Bull moved closer to her. "After you." He smirked. "No." She said. Edward stepped inside with Alphonse, and Riza watched the crowd. "Your apart of the military, Andrews start acting like it."  Maice looked at her feet. "Look, she said she didn't want to go, she doesn't have to go." Bull said. Edward watched him talk back to the Colonel. Yen pulled Maice closer to him.
"Sorry sir, but you have no say in this." Roy replied. Tilly trotted to the middle as well. She stood in front and growled. "Not you again." Roy pulled out his gun and started to fire. Maice escaped Yen's grip and slid in front of her, sending the bullet through Maice's side. "No!" Yen yelled, running to Maice's aid. He picked her up and ran to the back, Tilly running with him. Mustang tried to follow him but the crowd formed a blockade, keeping them from getting in.
"I'm o...Kay, Yen, really." Maice tried to get up from the bench he laid her on, but the pain was to severe. "Was he one of you enemies? Cause if not you should add him to your list!" They laughed, but it still hurt. Tilly tried to lick her wound, but before she could Yen shooed her away, starting to bandage the wound. "Don't ever do that again Maice. I thought he actually got you!" Yen said, finishing up. "Sorry." Maice said. She stood up and stretched, rubbing her side. "Oh, thank you! That feels really good Yen." Maice started walking out, Yen being a spotter for her so she wouldn't fall. "Hey! Let Alphonse in you guys! He's just a bystander!" She laughed. Alphonse ran through the barricade of people, meeting up with Maice, Yen and Tilly. "Are you okay, Maice?" Alphonse asked, scared. "I'm fine Alphonse, don't worry. Anyways, this is my friend Yen." Alphonse gave him a hand shake then said, "Nice to meet you!" Maice looked around then said, "Guys, it's fine! Just let them in. As long as they don't scare my customers away their fine." Maice said, slipping her apron on again. Bull ran over her. "You really need to rest, you shouldn't move with your injury." He worried. "I'm fine Bull, hey, could you tie me up?" He smiled then said, "Of course." She turned around and let him tie her apron. Yen helped her behind the island as Bull sat in front of them. "Your a strong woman, Maice." Bull said taking a sip of his beer. "What can I say, I'm a fighter."
