"She'll make it." Roy said, his voice calm, no worry at all. "We don't know that for sure sir, she's lost a lot of blood." Riza explained, standing at attention. Evan sat next to Maice, grasping her hand. "She's gonna make it." Evan assured herself. Tilly laid on Maice's feet at the end of the hospital bed, waiting for her to come back. The nurse walked in, holding a clipboard in her hands. "I'm sorry, but the chances are-" Evan started to tear up. "She's going, she's going to make it." She stammered. She looked back at Roy, whose face was still expressionless. She stared at him, trying to understand what he was thinking. The nurse shook her head. "She's lost to much blood, she doesn't have the energy to live." She stated, Evan's tears were practically flooding the room. "She has to come back, I just got her back!" She shouted, placing her forehead against the bed. Riza shook her head devastated as well. "She has more visitors, should I bring them in?" The nurse asked. Roy shook his head. The nurse nodded and left the room.
Evan kept crying, holding Maice's hand tighter every time she sobbed. She did this many times, but now, a squeeze came back. Evan looked up, tears still falling. Maice's hand gripped hers, and adjusted itself. "I'm...not dying," Maice gasped. "Without you, old friend." Maice's head turned and face Evan, her eyes opening wide, and a smile spread across her face. Evan smiled back and tackled her, Tilly perking up as well, joining the two of them in laughter. "Glad to have you back, Andrews." Roy said with a small smile. Maice smiled back and replied. "Glad to be back, Roy."  Edward burst into the room, Alphonse trying to hold him back. Maice ignored them, and turned back to Evan. "How long?" She asked. "Four miserable days! You left me for four stinkin' days Maice!" Evan yelled. "And for that I am forever sorry." They hugged each other, holding tight. "Now, I want an explanation for why bullets, came out of the gun you were holding, came towards me!!!" Edward yelled. "It's simple really. There's gun powder that lights when you pull the trigger and the bullet gets thrown out of the gun by the mini explosion inside. Why they came towards you was the hard part, you know, because of the small target." Maice smiled,as he rambled back at her. They just laughed, amused at the sight.
