Roy pushed through the crowd, interrupting Maice's dance. Yen stood beside her, holding her close. "Andrews! Where are the Elric's?" He whispered. "Sorry Roy, I haven't seen them." She said, stepping forwards. "Do you need help?" She asked kindly. Roy just turned around and looked through the building. Maice looked up at Yen. "I better help him, see you later okay?" She started to dash to the back office. "Hey!" Yen yelped. Maice turned around. He smile and said, "Dance with me tomorrow?" Maice grinned then ran into the back room. No Edward or Alphonse. She walked up to her fathers old desk and opened the drawer. Maice slipped out a dusty book and opened it. Inside the book, a cube shape was cut out of the middle of the pages, holding a gloves safe from danger. Maice's finger outlined the cube, then slowly picked up the gloves. "Edward, please don't be talking to strangers." She whisper to herself, carefully pushing the gloves into her pocket.
She met up with Roy, who was talking to Riza about the brothers. "Hey, I may know where they are." Maice said, leading the way. The three of them walked to an old building, the bricks practically falling off. Maice knocked on the door, then put her ear to it. "You recovered quickly from that wound, Andrews." Roy said, a little curious but off topic. "Shhh!" Maice snapped. She heard rustling from within the door. She slipped on her gloves quickly then asked, "Ready?" She smiled. They gave her a funny look. "I can't believe I left Tilly at the bar for this!" The door opened, and a tired young man poked through the door. "Hi, dick! Nice seeing you again?" She said. He tried to shut the door but Maice slipped her auto mail arm through the crack and wedged it open. Roy and Hawkeye followed through the door into the building. The man started running up the grand staircase as they followed. "Don't let him get to the top!" Maice shouted. Running past the slow man, she made her way up to the roof, where she found Edward and Alphonse, sitting against a pole. Edward was out cold, while Alphonse's helmet had been taken from him. "You guys are pure idiots, aren't you?" She said walking towards them. "Maice! Watch it!" Alphonse yelled, as a shorthaired women locked her arm around Maice's neck, a dull knife held near. "You just can't take a hint can you Maice?" The women said. Maice grabbed the women's arm and through her over her head, slamming her back to the hard cement. She gasped for air. "I see you haven't gotten any smarter since I left have you?" Maice watched her opponent closely as she got up, still struggling to breathe. "I've had enough of this!" The woman charged, the knife out. Maice shot her hand out quickly, spreading her fingers out wide. The floor transformed from flat ground to sturdy, long spears, piercing through the women's ribcage, killing her. Maice walked around the transmuted floor and the bloody body of the women to get to Alphonse. She started untying the bands around Alphonseand slipped off her gloves. "Are okay Al? I'm going to get you helmet back soon, got that?" She said. She looked at Edward. "And pipsqueaks auto mail." She added. "He said he was going to put it in a collection, what does that mean, Maice?" Alphonse asked, standing up. "I'll explain later, get your brother and the other two out of here okay?" Maice said heading out. Alphonse picked up Ed and dashed downstairs.
Maice stopped at the second floor and head into a small room. The man was already there waiting for her. Maice sighed and unhooked her arm, handing it to him. He smiled then said. "Which one?" Maice gave him a stern look and responded. "The helmet, leg and arm, now Baxter." He shook his head, slinging the arm over him. "No, no that won't do. Your arm will get you a helmet." He handing the expressionless helmet over to her. Maice snatched it then said, " Leg for a leg?" He nodded as she unhooked her leg as well holding herself up by the table. They exchange and Maice started limping out, wearing the helmet, and the leg slung over her shoulder. She couldn't wear it of course, it wouldn't fit. She hopped down the stairs, her hand holding tight to the railing. Once on the flat ground she made her way outside the building, where everyone was waiting for her. Edward was still asleep as she place Alphonse's helmet on adjusting it. Alphonse helped her seat herself on the curb as Roy and Hawkeye watched. "What happened Maice?" Alphonse asked. "Equivalent exchange, an arm for a helmet, a leg for a leg." She said, massaging her bullet wound. "Why didn't you just kill him too?" He asked. "Killing one person is a personal record, why would I ruin that?" She said proud of herself. Edward started to moan, slowly waking up. "So, Edward, who's that lovely mechanic you told me about?"
