Morning, Big Day

     "Evan?" Malice mumbled, groggily waking up. "Evan?!" She called out with more concern. "She's gone? Where is she?" Malice wondered. Edward walked in, a big smile on his face. "Where is she?" Maine ignored his happiness and went straight to her concern. He frowned at her. "Who? Evan? I don't know. But today, I get to fight you." Malice stood over him, creating a shadow. "I'm not gonna fight you, until I know she's safe." She said, sternly. "Gah, fine I'll help you. Where's the dog?" Edward asked, scratching his head. Maine shrugged. "Tilly?!" She called out. Tilly crawled out from under the bed, stretching her achy body. "Why the hell were you under there, silly?" Maine patted her dog then looked at Ed. "Well, let's go track her down." Maices hat laid on the hospital bed Evan slept on that night and Maice pointed at it, letting Tilly get a whiff of Evans scent. "Find her." She commanded. Tilly dropped her nose to the floor and started to track her.
     They ended up standing in front of Roy's office as usual. "Why is she in there?" Maice asked. Ed shrugged and knocked on the door. Rica opened it with a smile and motioned them to come in. Maice nodded and walked in. Evan was seated on the couch glaring at Roy. "What's going on here?" Maice asked, sitting down next to Evan. "Mr. Fire here , wants to know if there's any dangers in fighting you." Evan said. "Oh, so like, fighting me?"  Evan nodded and they giggled. Mustang sighed and looked at Edward. "Fullmetal, you ready?" He said. Edward shrugged. "Of course." Roy then glared at the two girls. "2:00 pm. Back of the building. I'll see you there." Maice laughed and walked out with Evan.
     "I'm surprised, I haven't seen you draw lately, Maice." Evan said. Maice shook her head and revealed her auto mail to her. "Permanent marker." She stated as they walked the hallways. A thorny vine grew its way up Maice's arm, birds, bugs, spiders, and flowers mixed into a jungle like scene. "Hmph, I take that back." Evan giggled at little. Maice smiled at her. "My legs a desert!" Maice exclaimed. Evan slapped her arm. "You crazy!" They laughed, starting to hum and tap. Maice was ready for her big day.
