"Okay, what happened to your eye, Evan?" Maice asked, as the sat outside Roy's office. "You know Lust, right?" Maice nodded. "I was fighting her and I tried to dodge her attack but she caught me, right in the eye!" Evan said enthusiastically. They laughed. "I guess you could say she poked my eye out!" They laughed even harder. "What happen to you Maice?" Maice sat quietly for a moment then spoke softly. "You know, how my mom died in that explosion?" Evan listened closely. "Well, after that my dad remarried. And the Ishval war started. Flame Alchemist, a.k.a. that guy." She pointed to Roy's office. "Killed my dad during that. And my stepmom shot my sister. I ran away with Tilly and Teddy. Teddy died during the run, so, I got so upset, I decided to bring him back. And it worked." Maice sighed. "Then King Bradley killed him again." Maice was about to burst into tears, but Evan hugged her, and she calmed down, feeling warmth and love from the hug, a feeling she hadn't felt in a while. "What happened to your step mom?" Maice thought for a moment. "I don't know, I thought she died trying to kill me. But, she wrote on the wall of my old room. I'm not completely sure now."
     The office door swung open. Edward poked his head out from the door staring at them. "Yes?" Maice asked. "The Colonel would like to see you." He said, nodding at Evan. They both stood up and Edward shook his head. "Just Evan." Ed came out along with Alphonse and Evan walked in. "What did he need her for?" Maice asked confused. Edward shrugged and sat against the wall. Maice and Alphonse joined him. "That bastard doesn't tell me any thing." Edward said. "I hope he hurries it up, I still have a dance to get to!" Maice exclaimed. They both looked at her like she was crazy. "What?"

     "What has she told you so far, Evan?" Roy asked. Evan laughed. "She told me everything! She always does." Roy shook his head confused. "So, you know she has a homunculus in her?" Evan stopped laughing. "What? No." She looked at him. "She does?" He nodded. "Something's wrong. She would've told me! She always tells me!" Evan started to worry. "She told you?" Roy nodded again. Evan bit her fingers. "Something's really wrong with Maice." She stared at the door. "Evan, who'd she transmute?" Riza asked. "Lieutenant, we already-" "Her dog, Teddy." Roy glared at her. "What?"
