There's Something Wrong

     "Maice are you okay?" Evan asked walking out of Roy's office. She looked down the hallway, but all she found was Edward asleep. She kicked his foot, waking him up with a shock. "Hey!" He shouted. "Where's Maice and Alphonse?" She asked him. "Maice went to her bar, I don't know where Alphonse is though." Edward replied, standing up. "I don't think Maice went to the bar." Evan started down the hallway with Edward following behind her. "She would have taken me with her, she wouldn't leave me unless something was really wrong." Evan worried, now running out the door. "How do you know her so well?" Edward asked. "Well that's a stupid question. I'm her best friend, we do everything together." She smirked back at him. "I thought that was sisters?" He questioned her. "No, sisters bite each other's heads off all the time. You should've seen them fight! It was hilarious!" She turned back and kept running. She slowed down. "Wait a minute. Did she tell you she had a homunculus in her?" Edward nodded. "First one instead of all her bar customers." He added. "Why didn't she tell me?!" Evan said, frustrated. Edward shrugged and then started running to the bar again.
     "Maice!" Evan called out, entering the bar. "Evan?" Yen walked up to her, she nodded. "Where's Maice?" She said quickly. "She just left a few minutes ago. What happened to your eye?" Evan shook her head. "Not the time. EDWARD! Let's go, she's not here." Evan ran out the door, Edward behind her. "Where else would she be?" She asked Edward. "She didn't tell us about anywhere else." As soon as Edward said that, Evan stopped, and Edward rammed into her, falling to the ground. "Damn it, Edward." She whispered as they stood. "Why'd you stop!?" Edward yelled. Evan threw her hand over his mouth. They listened closely, hearing a commotion from inside the building. Evan looked up. "Devil's Nest?" She asked Edward. He nodded, then said, "The old Greed hung in the basement of this place for a while. Then the military shut it down after we fought the homunculi there. " Evan pressed her ear against the wall, as well as Edward. They focused on the sound. There was a thud, then silence. "I've waited for this day." They heard. "Hm, I guess you finally got what you wanted, mother." Evan gasped. "MAICE!!!!!"
