Maice was still awake, staring up at the sky. She sat up and rubbed her head. Her auto mail was cool against the back of her . Maice stood up then turned around, yawning. Riza stood behind her, holding a plate of eggs and sausage. "Oh, thanks."  Maice took the plate out of her hands, and ate the eggs quickly the asked, "Do you mind giving the rest to Tilly? She usually eats with me but, she's not with me at this moment." Maice chuckled but stared at her feet. "Oh, of course, no problem." Riza took the plate and hurried inside. Maice started walking out into the town, when she was interrupted by Edward running towards her with Alphonse. "Maice, where are you going?" Edward asked, catching up with her. "I'm heading into town, I need clothes you know?" She said turning to look at him. "You don't have money do you?" Alphonse wondered. "Of course I have money, that's one of the reasons I went home!" She said frustrated. "Okay,  but we're coming with you." Ed responded. "Why? Cause you like shopping for girls clothes?" Maice smiled. "No! It's that bastards orders. We're supposed to take you to your test on time. Hawkeyes gonna  meet us there." Edward said, disgusted. "Ugh, fine just don't hold me back, shopping is in and out. No staring at stuff like kids got that?" Maice said heading out. "Ya, ya, we're not that young you know?" Edward said , following behind her.
Once at the market, Maice stopped at the first clothes store she saw. She grabbed three white shirts, blue jeans, and two plaid flannels. She grabbed some used shoes, then paid quickly. She scanned outside the market looking for Ed and Al, but they were already prowling the market, touching everything. She walked up to them, frowning. "Hey, Edward, Alphonse, I thought I told you not to stare at things?" Maice asked, crossing her arms. "Yah, but we're looking for the philosopher stone. Remember?" Edward said, still  looking at objects. "That's not important right now, I need to get to my test, remember? And I thought you were trying to get me there on time." She said, starting to walk away. "Hey, wait up Maice!" Alphonse called. The brothers ran in front of her, but kept walking. "When you say in and out you mean it! What did you buy a anyways?" Edward said. "Oh, just a couple white shirts, jeans and old shoes." Maice responded. "Really? Wow, I thought you'd buy, ya know, girl clothes."  Edward looked back at her, but turned back quickly. "What's that suppose to mean?" Maice was crossed her arms, but kept walking. "You know like, dresses, new shoes, stuff like that. You got stuff that, I don't know, working men wear?" He said. "Excuse me?! You think girls can't work? Last time I checked Riza was the person keeping Roy safe! And what about your mom?! She took care of you when your father left wasn't she? And wasn't I the one in the dirt, weeding and picking vegetables?!" Maice stopped. She was enraged. "Even my dog works hard! And your saying what I buy is what working men wear?" Alphonse stopped his brother from moving forward. "Brother, apologize!" He whispered. Edward turned around, and said, "Sorry your so easily offended." He smirked. "Hey! You jerk!" Maice shouted and threw a stone at him. She soon felt an arm grab her and whisper in her ear. "Now, I don't want the important sacrifices to be all scratched up do I?" Thinking quickly, Maice elbowed the man in the stomach, the clapped her hands together. "Edward!" She shouted, slapping the ground. The earth vibrated, sending a giant fist out from underneath him. "Who was that?!" Edward shouted as they ran away from the man. "Greed you idiot!"
