Maice slept outside for the last three hours before her test. She thought silently of what to do for the test. "Everything I do is boring! What would impress that bastard enough to let me become a state alchemist?" She fell asleep two minutes after she dove into her thought. But her sleep didn't last long, especially since someone through a rock at her. "Hey! What the hell do you think you bastards are doing?!" She shouted sitting up. She turned around to see Edward laughing. "What do you want, smalls?" Maice said ticked off. "Hey, I'm not short! Get up, Roy wants you to practice with me, but I just think that bastard's having fun." Edward said, annoyed as well. "You go do what you want to do, and I can sleep. That's fair don't ya think? Now bug off, dwarf." She laid down, her arms straight out. "Get up, he's watching us from the that big window. He hasn't been trusting me lately." Edward pointed to the window Roy was looking out of. "I can see why." She said getting up. "Are you still angry that I transmuted my dog?" Maice asked. Edward just stood silently. "You know, Tilly's not that dog, right?" She added. "What? Then where is the dog?" Edward asked, watching Maice walk over to the building. "King Bradley," She clapped her hands together. "Sent his men to kill the people of Ishval, right? Well, a couple days before that, my family died. I brought my dog back, and we tried to leave. He didn't quite like my idea." Maice slammed her palms against the wall, sending a vibration up to the window, breaking the glass. "Hey, you! Yah you! The pervert in the window, do you mind?" She yelled up to Roy. He left the window, giving them some privacy. "Can I go back to sleep now?" Maice wondered, still watching the window. "Thank goodness, I don't have to work with you." Edward said starting to walk away. "Your angry, because I did something stupid. And what about you? You did the same thing as me but on a person. We are idiots, everyone in the world is an idiot, taboo or not." Maice said, with her hands on her hips. "Fine, we're good." Edward responded, walking to his apartment. Maice laid back down, the soft grass brushed across her cheek, and the dew kept her cool. "King Bradley, I'm coming."
