And that's when I saw him, once again. Walking straight for our table. He looked just like he did this morning. Just perfect. I didn't look away from him but I could tell that my friends were staring at him too.

There was just something about him that made him so attractive, other than his gorgeous looks. Maybe it was his personality. If he had a good personality then he would be perfect.

But I doubt he has a good personality because every good looking guy is self centered, egotistic, selfish, a player, and a lot of other things that aren't so nice. But maybe I'm wrong about him. Maybe he's different from all the other overly attractive guys.

Take Ryder Scott for example, his looks are surely mesmerizing but his personality could be much better.

The closer Jake got to our table the more red my face got. "Hey Jamie, I guess we meet again." He said when he got to our table.

"H-hi." I could barely get the word out my mouth.

He flashed me that signature smirk guys do to try to get girls to blush. And it was working because I felt my face grow even hotter. And I'm sure if you touched my face you would get burned.

"I see you brought some friends." He said looking in their direction.

I still didn't take my eyes off him. "Um, yeah, those are, um-"

"I'm Madeline." Maddie said. She was sitting in the chair to my right.

"I'm Sofia." Sofie said. She was sitting in the chair across from me.

"And I'm Veronica." Roni said. She was sitting in the chair to Sofie's left.

"And I'm Victoria." Tori said walking to our table. She called us before we left the apartment that her dentist appointment was next Monday, not today. Her dad gets dates mixed up all the time. One time he missed her cheerleading competition because he thought it was the next day, and Tori was so pissed. I told her to meet us at IHOP.

She took a seat next to Roni. "I'm her twin." She said pointing to Roni, if that wasn't already obvious. If Tori's hair was in a ponytail and they had on matching clothes you wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

"It's nice to meet all of you." Jake said to them. They don't blush as much as I do, but I could see a little pink coming to their faces.

"Yeah, just let everyone ignore the little one." My brother said crossing his arms and sliding down in his chair. I totally forgot that he was here with us. He was sitting next to Maddie.

"Sorry, Jake," I said to my brother. Then I turned to our waitress, "Jake, do you remember my brother Jake?" I said pointing to my brother.

Our overly attractive waitress smiled and nodded his head. "Of course I do. After all we do have the same name."

"What's your last name?" My brother asked our waitress.

"Phillips." He said.

"My last name is Valentine." Jake said frowning his face, "It sounds all girly, Jake Valentine. But it fits perfectly with Jamie, doesn't it? Jamie Valentine."

Jake, our waitress, smiled at me and said, "Jamie Valentine, it's a cute name."

I felt the blood rushing to my face again, making my face red. Jake flashed me that signature smirk which tells that me he knows he's hot and that he can get any girl he wants. See, he is just like every other gorgeous guy. Self-centered, selfish, and egotistic. But something else about him is different.

"Um, thanks." I stuttered. I couldn't help but stare into his gorgeous blue eyes. They were so mesmerizing. As I stared into his eyes he stared right back into mine. Oh. My. God. I think we just had a moment. And moments like that don't happen very often.
