There was a small chuckles coming from the person with the knife. The lights came on and it turned out the the killer was Jonah. Willows step brother. "Jonah! Not funny!" Willow yelled. Jonah was now on the floor laughing his butt off. Willow grabbed one of her pillows and threw it at him. The fluffy plush flew past him and hit the book case causing it to fall over, and Jonah was right in its path. I closed my eyes as soon as I heard a painful scream. Willow screamed. I peaked one eye open to see Jonah's arm stuck under the heavy book case. Jonah was on the floor balling. Which is weird to see. He's 16. Ive never seen a 16 year old boy cry before. Willow ran over and tried to life the book case up. It didn't budge. "Jessica, help me lift this up!" she yelled. I ran over and helped her. It slowly lifted up and soon it was up. But all of the books were scattered across the floor. Jonah's arm was majorly bruised with bloody mark around his arm. He let out the most blood curtailing scream I've ever heard. Mark (Willow and Jonah's dad) ran in and pulled out his phone and dialed 911. After talking with them, he looked at me and screamed. "What the hell are you doing here?!" he yelled. "Willow invited me-..." I started but he cut me off. "Willow! I can't believe you invited this thug over to our house! What the hell
is wrong with you!" Willow looked down. Tears threatened to fall out of her chocolate brown eyes. Her dad looked at me. "You better leave this house this instance, or Im calling the cops." I gulped and turned to walk away. "See you in court." He added. I ran upstairs and out the door. I ran straight past the neighbors house across the street and into the forest behind it. I kept running until I was lost. I fell to the ground crying. Why does everyone hate me? The tears slowly stopped. The soothing sound of the trees leaves buzzing filled the air. Birds tweeting amongst themselves. It would be awesome to be a bird. Just fly away from your problems and leave your past behind. I lifted my head and watched as the clouds passed over the trees above me. I lay down on the hard ground. A cold breeze was blowing through the tree leaves and making some fall along with it. I close my eyes and soak up all the peace. How can a world be so stressful, but so beautiful at the same time? A delicious smell filled the air. It smells like bbq. I open my eyes and I can see smoke up ahead. My stomach rumbles at the smell of the delicious food. I rolled over so I was now laying on the ground. I closed my eyes and listened. "grrrrrrr" my stomach kept repeating. I sighed. "Sounds like someone is hungry." Said a familiar voice. My head popped up and their stood Andy. He must have saw my red puffy eyes because he sat down next to me and pulled me over to him. I had my head in his lap and I laid facing him. He stared into my eyes. "Jess whats wrong?" his gentle voice asked. I looked into his big brown eyes that stared down at me. "Family Troubles." Is all I could tell him. He opened up his mouth like he was gonna say something but he quickly closed it. Tears started forming in my eyes, and I don't even know why. I bit my lip because I don't want him to see me crying. Andy's eyes study me. Then they land on my eyes. He was looking at me a way he never has. He gave me a look of pity. The tears gathered in my eyes, and soon I couldn't hold back. A sob escaped my mouth, and echoing through the forest. Andy wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. My head was on his chest and he held me tightly against him. I cried and cried. Andy rubbed circles on my back. I soon stopped crying. I closed my eyes. I could feel myself slowly falling asleep, and soon every noise I could possibly hear, was slowly fading away, until I heard nothing.
