The two walked into the fairly large brick house. Jessica's heart beat slowly sped up the more the walked down the hallway towards the living room. A sweet smell of something cooking filled the house. Once the two reached down the hall of the hallway, there was a kitchen to the right and a living room to the left. Stacy, Andy's older sister, was helping his mom cook pasta. And Kylee, was in the living room playing mine craft on the playstation. Andy cleared his throat causing everyone to look at him. "Guys, you remember Jessica, right?" Andy spoke. The echo of Andy's voice filled the room. The all nodded. "Well is it okay if she stays the night tonight?" He asked. The palms of his hands were sweaty. Andy wasn't sure why his hands are sweaty, he wasn't nervous, and it wasn't hot in the room either, but maybe it was because he was standing next to the girl he liked. His hands have always been sweating ever since he met Jessica. Andy's mothers voice broke his thoughts. "Yes, thats fine sweetie. Your home just in time its time to eat.". Andy smiled. He took off his shoes and laid his jacket down. Jessica did the same. Kylee, Andy's little sister, walked over to Jessica."You can sit by me if you want!" she begged. Jessica smiled. "Sure." she replied. Kylee grabbed Jessica's hand and walked her over to the dinner table. There was fettuccine Alfredo, with garlic bread, and boiled broccoli drizzled with melted butter and mozzarella cheese. Everyone took their seats. Jessica sat in between Kylee and Andy. They all made their plates and started to eat. "This is really good Mrs Peterson. " Jessica complimented. Andy's mother smiled. "Thank you, but please, call be Krystal. " She insisted. Jessica smiled and nodded. Andy grabbed everyone's plate when they were done eating. Jessica followed Kylee into the living room. She stood behind Kylee as she showed her, her pet hamster. Andy walked over to Jessica and put his arms around her waist and rested his head on her shoulder. Andy was a good couple of inches taller than Jessica. "Cmon Jess, let's go to my room and do something fun."He whispered in her ear. She turned around to look at him. Andy winked at her. She hit him lightly. "Perv..." She mumbled. Andy chuckled. "Kylee, you don't mind if I steal Jess from you, do you?" Andy asked. Kylee smiled. "Ya sure. Go ahead." She replied. Andy smiled. "Great." Andy picked up Jessica and ran upstairs. Jessica screamed. "Put me down!!!!" She yelled. When Andy got to his room, and put her down on top of his bed. He closed his door and locked it. He started to slowly walk towards Jessica licking his lips. "Andy, what are you doing?" Jessica asked. Andy stopped right in front of her. He leaned closer and closer towards her. Her breath hitched a little. Andy bit his lip. "Do you know what I'm going to do to you Jess?" He asked. Jessica shook her head no, getting worried by what he meant. Andy smirked. All of the sudden, he started tickling her. She laughed like crazy. Andy chuckled too. Andy soon stopped. Jessica laid on his bed, out of breath from laughing. Andy looked up at his alarm clock. 8:43 pm.Andy sighed. "What's wrong?" Jessica asked. "We have to go to bed at nine. It's my moms rule." He said. Jessica looked at the clock too. "Well what do you want to do? " She asked. "Well, I need to get a shower, but you can stay here if you'd like, unless you want to join me." Andy flirted. Jessica laughed. "No I'm good, but can I get a shower after you." Jess offered. Andy pouted. "Fine. Be that way." He told her. Andy went to the bathroom and he turned on the water. Meanwhile, while Andy was taking his shower, Jessica sat on Andy's bed. She pulled up her arm sleeve to reveal a bunch of cuts. She looked at them and wondered when the last cut was put on her arm. It wasn't that long ago. Yes, she was a cutter. She started the year her mom disappeared. After her life becoming a living hell, she wanted some way to take the pain away. She eventually started getting addicted to it after a while, she tried to stop it, but she couldn't. Seeing the bright red blood pouring out of her skin made her feel like she deserved it. Even though she knows it wasn't her fault that her mother disappeared. Jessica looked put the window towards her old, pathetic house. Her father stood outside, in the backyard drinking beer. There was empty bottles everywhere around him. "He must be drinking again.." Jessica mumbled to herself. She felt a slight pain in her right side. She ignored it and continued to stare. Her dad chugged the wrest of the bottle and smashed it to the ground. Jessica flinched. She wasn't expecting him to do that. Her dad turned around and stared straight at the window Jessica was looking through. She quickly jumped on Andy's bed, hoping that he didn't see her. Her side started to hurt again. She laid on Andy's bed holding her side. Eventually the pain went away. Jessica sat down on the floor. Just then, Andy came out of the bathroom with only a towel rapped around him. Jessica reached up to close the blinds. Andy saw the scars on her wrist. "Jess, what are those things on your wrist?" Andy asked her. Jessica, not even realizing she still had her arm sleeve up until now, quickly put her arm behind her back. "N-Nothing."She stuttered. Andy walked over to her. He grabbed her wrist and pulled it up to his face. Jessica tried to pull her wrist away. Andy dropped his towel in shock once he realized what those scars were. Jessica looked away. Andy didn't care if he was naked or not. He just sat there starring at Jess. "Jessica, please tell me these aren't cuts." Andy whispered. Jessica sighed. "Jessica please, tell me these aren't cuts." Andy said getting more aggressive. "I cant do that." Jessica whispered. "Why cant you just tell me?" Andy yelled. "Because Id be lying." She whispered. Andy released her wrist. He grabbed his towel and putt it on and sat on his bed. Jessica sat down by him. Andy shed a single tear. "Im sorry." Jessica whispered. Andy turned and looked at her. "Why?" He asked her. "Reasons I cant explain." She told him. "Why do hide so many secrets from me?" Andy asked her, sounding really hurt. "I cant tell you yet, I have to trust you first." She told him. Andy sighed. He stood up. "Look away." He told her. She did as told. Andy got dressed. Jessica sat there and cried silently. He laid back down on the bed. Andy grabbed her gently and pulled her closer towards him. She sobbed into his chest. Andy held her close towards him. "Im so sorry." She cried out. "Me too." He told her.

But, I know, sad chapter, but its a sad book.😭 And I have no idea were I came up with this story. Most of books are sad. But last year, I suffered from depression. So I think that affected me pretty badly. Plus my Dad yells at me for every little thing I do wrong. So I think thats part of the inspiration. But ya, I don't get abused, but I do get yelled at. Very, Often. But anyways, Thanks for reading. I need a nickname for all of my readers. How about, My Book Buddies? Or My little Bookworms. Or is that just weird? Lol, well anyway, bye guys!! I will try to update as soon as possible!!!🤓 Happy Reading!!!
