Sam's P.OV
I looked up through the mud that gritted to my fringe and plastered it to my face, my eyes were bleary from some kind of drug the bastard had slipped me. I remember hearing Carlee's wolf scream throughout the night and I couldn't take it, Carlee was as much my sister as Rose now and I knew i had to find James, before it was to late. I followed James faint scent but it was quickly masked by the stench of rogues, before I could something stung my neck and everything went black.
The room was dark and empty except for myself and the figure lurking in the shadows, it paced, waiting. I yanked my stiff limbs and a searing pain in my wrists and ankles told me I was chained, tight. I tried to growl but the noise sounded weak and mumbled. The figure launched, grasping my throat in a fierce and threatening grip.
" shut up pup" he hissed and tilted my head up so he could look into my dazed eyes. I stared back hard at the face I would one day, shred to pieces.
"You belong to me now" he growled and his eyes glowed red and in their ember depths was the crazed, poisonous desire for power that haunted a rogue. I gritted my teeth as his eyes met mine and the force of an alpha overtook me, my eyes and head burned until I felt my heart twist and my wolf disconnect from my mind for a split second before returning with a nasty snarl. My head lolled back and my mind succumbed to the void and everything faded from me, except for my Alpha.

Rose P.O.V

*flash back*
I was running. Carlee was behind me, I thought I heard her miss a step but I kept going, assuming she had just stumbled. It wasn't until I reached the tree line that I realised something was wrong, something stung at the back of my neck and the ground came rushing up to meet my face before everything fell into darkness.

Carlee's P.O.V
We ran through the forest, hoping to pick up Sam or Roses scent. But only the stench of rogues lingered in the forest, a figure flashed to my left and I immediately crouched, James was of to my right. Still running and Cleary unaware of the figure darting through the trees, heading back the way we had just came. I stood up and stalked the figure through the trees, they stopped abruptly and now that she wasn't moving so fast I could tell she was a girl. She put her hands on her hips and sighed before running her fingers through her familiar dark hair. But before Lynn could remind me who she was I pounced pushing her face to the ground then rolling her over only to come face to face with Vivian, my sister. But this time something was different.
