The Alpha chose me

chapter five

I stared at him, James. Anger and shock bubbled under my skin but some part of me longed to be in his arms, to feel his touch but i quickly dismissed that part of me and focused on the fact that he had just snuck into my room and entered my bed without permission.

He looked stunned at first but then a calm devious smile concealed it as he ran his hand over the sheets on the space I had just occupied whilst sleeping. For a second I was confused at what he was trying to convey by doing so but when his blue eyes met mine I knew exactly what he wanted.
He wanted me.
I could see the desire in his eyes .. I gulped as a peculiar sense of nerves began to shake my body. I willed them to stop before he noticed but it only made them worse. His body language changed from want to need, he rolled out of bed slowly making his way towards me. The lust in his eyes was so strong I felt as if it would suffocate me. My wolf was surfacing and she was becoming consumed in her own desires and needs.

He placed his hands on my shoulders and slowly ran them down the length of my arms until his hands met mine, shivers of lust ran through me and causing butterflies to explode into a frenzy in the pit of my stomach. I looked into his eyes which had taken on a lighter hue, almost silver, it was his wolf. He growled and pressed me up against the wall with his body, i was speechless. I didn't know what to do or say. Lynn wanted him more than anything, but I wasn't ready for this. Not yet.

I gulped once again and tried to slide past him but he put his arm up in front of me ,I turned to move the other way only to be met once again by his solid masculine arm. Now he had me completely pinned against the wall I looked up at him anxiety had taken a root in my head and I felt nervous.
" let me go" I said as firmly as possible, my voice wavering slightly at the end.
" No" he said in a tone that should have left no room for argument but that didn't work on me.
"Why not?" I asked in a rude snappy tone. His eyebrow raised and a mocking smile laced his delicious lips.
He leaned his head down so his face was only inches away from mine I closed my eyes trying to control Lynn's desire, his breath brushed against my lips as he spoke.
"Because your mine" he said before pulling away too soon for lynn's liking.
I let go of the breath I had been holding and opened my eyes expecting to see him lying on the bed naked or something erratic yet sexy like that.
But when I opened my eyes he was gone. A wave of relief washed over me followed by a small pang of regret that I didn't make the most of his presence. I sighed and made my way over to the dresser, I checked the time on my phone, 6 am on the dot. I thought about going back to sleep but I couldn't stop thinking so I showered and changed before leaving. I drove as the world welcomed a new day my mind constantly replaying not only what had happened in the hotel room but what could have happened and what might happen if there ever is a next time.

Oh god I hope there's a next time. I thought secretly
