I stand on the abandoned race track, looking up to the sky as the clearly damaged ship gets closer to the ground.
I'll be honest, I actually don't know how I'm feeling right now.
I'm really happy they came back, but in dying a little inside...
Because not all of them made it here...

I'm also scared... Really scared...
Why?
I have no idea.

The ship finally lands and I can totally see it's not the same one in which they left.
I start playing with my fingers as the engines shut down.

The first one to step out is Hide.

He stands there, looking at me. I look at his optics and I can see... How much he actually cares about me..

I look down and step forward.
I don't know how I feel. I don't know how to act.
He kneels down and rises my head with one of his digits. He stares deep into my eyes for some moments. I stare back and feel those little glass shards dig deeper into my heart.
He's not smiling. He doesn't even seem angry. He looks at me a way he had never looked at me before. Not even when they were leaving Earth, when we said goodbye.
I wish he was at least angry at me. I would even prefer that...
He takes me up to his chest and hugs me tightly.

"I...I..." I stutter.

"Sshh... It's okay kid... It's okay" he says, I notice an edge on his voice.

"It... It's not" I whisper, I feel my eyes start to get watery. But I will not allow myself to cry.
Hide holds me a bit tighter.

He leaves me back on the ground. I look around and as I see them there... A smile appears on my face.

"You're here..."

"And we won't leave again" Optimus kneels, softly strokes my face and takes me up to his shoulder.

"I missed you so much... I missed you all..." I hug his helm.

"Believe us, we missed you too Claire" yeah, you know who said that.

I chuckle and smile at all of them...
No... Not all of them...

"Aaaww! We missed you Cael!" Jazz says, almost shouting the 'Cael' for Sideswipe to understand how my name is pronounced. He steps forward and nudges my chin with his digit.

"It seems we found a way, Cael" Ratchet says, coming closer.

"A way?"

"For you to know the rest of the story" he says. I nod and smile.

We all stay in silence for a while.
No one wants to talk about it... But we all know we have to.

"Can I... Can I see him?" I know he's here... Their silence can shout as loud as words.

"Cael, I don't think that...-" Hide starts.

"Please..." I look up at Ratchet, who hesitates but sighs and slightly nods.
Optimus hesitates and then takes me down to the ground.
