I freeze, eyes wide as I watch what looks like an entire Autobot team standing before the small cabin I call home. I grab onto the door, trying to get a grip on anything I can, since my own emotions aren't being controlled any time soon. Bumblebee sows down to a stop, and all the giant robots that stand on my lawn turn around to watch the Camaro arrive.
What is going on today? Why is the main Autobot team standing in front of my house? I can recognise all of them; anyone who was in Chicago those years ago can recognise them, anyone who knows about NEST too. And it really is them. Ratchet, the team's medic; Jazz, the lieutenant; Ironhide, weapons' specialist; and, of course, Optimus Prime.
On my lawn. Right.

"~Are you ok?" A voice coming from the radio snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Did you know they would be here?" I speak lowly, as if even from here everyone outside would be able to listen.

"~Not really." Bee responds. "~I mean..." the voice he chooses trails off.

"You mean what?" My eyes snap towards the radio.

"~I figured they wanted to meet."

"What?!" I shout-whisper. "How?"

"~They asked for my location."

"Why didn't you tell me?" This can't be happening. This must be some sort of joke. There has to be cameras around, waiting for me to step out so people can pop some confetti and laugh at the astonishment on my face.

"~I'm-" Bee can't even defend himself before another voice snaps both of us out of this back and forth.

"Bumblebee." It's Optimus.

Oh no. I don't want to step out. I don't want anything to do with any of this. But before I'm able to say anything, Bee opens the door next to me. How dare he.

With trembling hands, I step out, and the yellow Autobot transforms next to me.

"Great, another human the bug dragged in." The black Autobot grumbles, and receives an elbow from the shorter 'Bot Jazz.

"She's right there." He mutters.

But, truly, its's like I'm not actually here. I can't seem to speak, and I don't even know when I started holding my breath. It's the Autobots. Standing right before me. And they're all staring.

"I apologise, we didn't know this place was inhabited," Optimus speaks again, "nor that Bumblebee was accompanied by you."

I open my mouth to speak, but no sound comes out. I give a small step back, stumbling onto Bee's pede. I quickly try to regain my balance, and I stutter to try to find the words.

"I- I'm sorry, how, I mean, why are you-? Sorry, this is too much." I manage to get out, shaking my head for a moment, trying to grasp the facts piling up in my head.

"We didn't mean to be of any inconvenience." The Prime continues, "We simply needed somewhere quick to meet up, and this was the closest safe place we had."

"Right. No. That's fine. I mean, it's fine. I just didn't expect you all to be here." Slowly, I begin getting a grip.

"We didn't know you'd be here either." The weapons' specialist shoots a glare towards Bee.

"~Her father ~was with NEST." Bumblebee speaks before me. And I can't say I'm not grateful, because I was probably about to make more of a fool of myself by staring without being able to speak properly. "~She knows a lot ~about us." He switches through the radio stations.

"Your father is with NEST?" Ratchet jumps in, giving a step forward.

"He used to, he..." I clear my throat. "He passed in the battle of Chicago." I look away.
