20: Inside

{Chapter Under Edition} ~Dream Catcher  

I smile and turn away. I start running silently.

In two minutes I get to see the building, there are two Decepticons outside just having a Decepticon conversation.

I walk behind some trees that are around here and get to the back of the building where another con is there as a guard. I take a rock from the ground and throw it to him.

I throw it and start running to his other side. The rock smashes on his helmet and he immediately shoots the place where I was just some seconds ago. Thanks God I'm not there anymore. He gives one step forward and turns to the place where I was, leaving the entrance enough for me to enter. I run to his back and as he is still turned I stealthily open the giant door just a little and I enter.

Narrator's POV:

Caelyn gets inside the base and looks around.

"Hey guys, I'm inside..." she whispers through her communicator. She hears a sigh and that sound. Did Ironhide just sighed in relief?

"Caelyn, be careful" Optimus says.

Suddenly she hears voices talking in another room. She slyly walks to the place where the voices are coming.

"Aaaaagghhh! How are we supposed to read this?!"

"If we knew we had already find a way! don't you think?!"

"We need the girl, she can read this!"

"As long as she is surrounded by Autobots how are we gonna take her?!"

"What happened with Skyfall?! Project Skyfall would be useful!"

'Skyfall? what are they talking about?' Caelyn thinks.

"Shut up you knuckleheads!"

"I don't receive orders from you Starscream!"

"Yeah! You lost the Investigation! And it was in your hand!"

"Hey! that's....!"

"What? a stupid and tiny human girl blew up your toy and your hand? that's why you're so angry?" One says with a mocking tone. He and other two cons laugh.

Caelyn looks from a corner at the four Decepticons. She recognises Starscream that is with his arms crossed, and his optics almost in fire.

"Hey everyone!" another voice joins the conversation. they all look at him. "I think I discovered the code!"

'No no no no no no no no no...' Caelyn thinks. She looks around, looking for a way to get the second part.

"Lord Megatron!" Starscream shouts. 'He's here...'

"What?" the leader of the Decepticons asks, irritated.

"It seems we found out the way of reading the Investigation..."

"Show it to me! Now!" He orders. They all start going to another room. Suddenly Starscream turns to the place where Caelyn is placed but she instantly hides back at the corner again, hoping that he didn't see her. He just looks at the place, turns again and follows the others.

She sighs silently and looks at the room again. There's no one now. She slowly walks against the walls for hiding easily if a con comes back.

"Guys, are you there?" Caelyn asks.

"Why did you stayed silent?" Jazz asks.

"They were talking about Skyfall or something like that" she whispers. "Any idea of what is that?"

"No..." Ratchet says.

"I think they now they know how to read the Investigation..." she says

"Not good... what can you see?" Ratchet says.

"It's like their principal room... there are gadgets all around..." she says.

"Focus on the Investigation... don't take anything that wasn't stole from you first..." Hide says. She giggles silently.

"I'm not my dad Hide..." Caelyn says.

"But you're her daughter, you have it in your blood.." he replies.

"Get concentrated" Ratchet says. If Ironhide was here he and Caelyn would have rolled their eyes and smile at each other. Bee would have laughed silently about the situation.

Caelyn starts walking around the room silently as she heads to he ajar door. She gets near enough to hear their conversation.

"It's a weapon.." one says. They start talking about everything the weapon has.

'It had to be a weapon what they're reading...' Caelyn thinks.

"So this makes an explosion?"

"It's like an atomic bomb.."

'No! damn it Caelyn! think!' she starts looking around... what can she do?

Something comes to her mind... perfect.

She silently gets inside the room while everyone is turned around, concentrated in the weapon's explanation.

She walks behind them as she takes a thick rope that was on the 'principal room' and grins.

She starts working on her plan. She ties the rope to the indicated places and starts walking. She steps on something making a tiny sound that someone would barely hear but Megatron turns to that place. Caelyn immediately hides behind a desk.

She hears how some others turn too.

'Please don't see me and the ropes.... please don't see me... please don't see the ropes...'

Megatron growls and gets his attention to the Investigation again.

Caelyn sighs silently, very silently and gets her head out of the desk to see everyone looking at the wall? it seems they're not reading the Investigation by itself, it has a kind of magnifier and it's projected on the wall.

'That won't be a problem...' she thinks as she smiles.

"This is great... we finally could get rid of the Autobots... and the girl, we don't need her anymore" Megatron says. "Let's start this thing! come on! start working!" he orders.

Suddenly, Caelyn trips and falls to the ground, in the view of everyone. She looks up as the Decepticons stare at her.

Megatron runs to her as she stands up but he takes her before she could do anything. She tries to get away but it's useless. One of the Decepticons steps back and trips down and his arms fall to the table where the second part is, making it fall to the ground.

"Look who is here?" he says, smiling. "I should kill you right now..." he squeezes her and she winces and clenches her teeth. "and I probably will..." he evilly says.

Her plan failed...

Did it...?

As they're so concentrated with the hologram, Caelyn runs silently, grabs the Investigation and gets out of there as fast as she can.

Ok I'm weird.

If anyone didn't get it, the ropes were for a Decepticon to fall down to the table, making the second part to fall to the ground, allowing the real Caelyn to take it as they're distracted with her hologram. smart uh? haha

Well, that's all.. oh wait, I'll change the cover to a new one, just in case you don't see the same cover
