21: Warning for the future?

Caelyn's POV:

I open the giant door of the base slowly and see the same Decepticon standing there, I walk behind him under the light of the entrance, hoping he doesn't turn. I get to the shadows and go far from here, when I'm far enough I start running. Suddenly I hear metal crashes and an angry scream coming from the Decepticon's base, I guess they've noticed that's not me... I run faster and head to the place where Bee and Hide are (hopefully) waiting for me.

As I run I talk through my communicator.

"Hey guys, mission accomplished"

I finally see those familiar and tranquillising optics. I sigh and run to them. I stand at their side as they keep looking at something in front of them.

"I'm back" I say smiling. They both jump a little and look at me, I think they didn't expected me to be just suddenly there. Bee makes that sound, happy that I'm back.

"You're back!" he says through his radio, I smile at him.

I'm glad Decepticons didn't caught me, I would like to have a longer life.

I look at Hide and I'm happy to see relief in his optics, I smile at him but don't say anything about that.

"You got it?" Hide asks. I rise my hand and shake the Investigation proudly.

"I got it" I say happily through my communicator.

"Good job Caelyn" Optimus says. "Are you hurt?"

"Nope" I answer. "but... they got to read something"

"What did they read?" Jazz asks.

"A weapon. I'm not sure which one was but they said it was like an atomic bomb..."

"Well that doesn't sound good.." Hide says.

"Hopefully they didn't read everything that is necessary for the weapon" Optimus says.

"Let's hope so..." I say.

"Caelyn, you think you can read or you're too tired?" he asks.

"I can read"

"You did a great job today" he says and breaks the connection. I smile.

"I agree!" Jazz says. I giggle. He gets out if the conversation too. What does he have to do? he's alone... We're hidden in groups, it's Hide, Bee and me, Optimus and Ratchet and Jazz is alone. I hope he's okay. Maybe I'm overreacting.

"It's true... good job" wait... did... Ratchet say that?! I look excitedly at Bee and Hide. Bee nods and Hide folds his arms.

"It wasn't that bad..." he says. I smile.

"Hey, I made out with the Investigation thanks to you Soft Guy" I say as I sit down and take the second part out.

"What?"

"Thanks for teaching me about the holoforms" I say.

"What did you do Dallas?" he asks.

I tell them how I made the distraction with the hologram (but first I explain Bee that Ironhide taught me on our way here how to make one) and everything I made.

"Not bad kid" Hide says as he bumps his fist with mine. I smile.

"Not bad that you accepted it, Soft Guy" I say and turn to read the Investigation.
