Everything goes dark.

And everyone goes silent.

For a moment, all that is heard is our breathing. I squint my eyes, blinded by the screen's light, and press the button to turn the laptop off. Turning around, I blink a few times to get my sight used to the darkness; but before I'm able to, Bee turns on the lights on his armour.

Some of the soldiers grunt, covering their faces. I look up at the yellow Autobot.

"Careful, they might throw a lamp at you" I smile. His optics spin, and I can picture him smiling sweetly.

Kneeling down, he hands me my backpack.

"Thank you" I grab it and place the laptop inside.

"Alright, listen up!" Parrish raises his hands as we all turn to him. "We'll split up, you all have your weapons and flashlights, you'll go in pairs and will never lose each other from sight" his voice is stern and firm, the same as the light in his eyes. "You all know the code to know if it's any of us, if the question is responded different as we stated, shoot in sight."

The code.

'What happened to the light?'

'Problems with the generator'

I guess it will work...

But, again, a dark feeling in my gut tells me something will go wrong...

"Caelyn; you, Christian and Bumblebee will stay here. Check on the Investigation. If you have to get any of us to tell us what you found, you and Christian will go." He says, looking at both of us. "Bee, you'll stay here to make sure no one gets near that panel," he points to the place I just had the laptop connected to. "If the 'Con returns in any hope to escape, you'll stop him"

I look up at Bee, and for a moment, I notice something in his optics... He takes a moment to respond, looking down at me, his sight then turning to Christian. Then, he slightly nods.

"Does everybody understand?" He raises his voice once again for everyone to listen. We all nod. "Alright then. Let's go."

I sit on the floor, reading the Investigation I had inside my backpack. The rest of the soldiers left to check every hallway and room. I'm sure it's gonna take quite a while, even though this is a small base, there are only about 35 soldiers in here; when usually there are at least 100.

We hear things falling and doors slamming from time to time, but all we're able to do is look up, wish no one comes shooting at us, and return to our alert mode. For some reason, I don't feel as if I was about to get shot by a 'Con; yes, I have a bad feeling about this, but... surprisingly, I'm not afraid.

As I flip through the pages, one of the drawings catches my eye.

A silver gun with tubes of blue liquid.

I stop completely, and a vast emptiness suddenly overwhelms me. It all comes back slowly, sliding into my mind like a gentle wave into the sand.
