Hello, Little Spark, this is yet another entry I shall write for you. I know, I know, you're probably sick of all my talking about The War, I'm sick too, after all... Well, I'm a pilot in it, as you know.
But today it isn't all about War talk.
Truth is, I don't know when you will read this. Your little frame doesn't seem to come online, and your spark goes on and off like a tiny lightbulb, but I'm sure you'll make it through. Even so, I'll be honest, I do not know if I want you to be in this mess.
Things aren't looking very bright... not at all, actually, but we still fly almost every day and every night, hoping to make a difference.
Where I'm going here is, making a change and seeing it make a difference takes time... sometimes a lot of time. But we have to endure.
That's how all wars are won... inside and out.
Thankfully I have Harry, he's a walking reminder that it's going to be worth fighting for. Yes, he can be pretty annoying, but he's the closest friend I've got, and thanks to him I manage to imagine a world without this war. I hope you'll meet him one day.
I bet you'll find him annoying too.
So, I don't know when you'll be reading this. I don't know what you'll be going through, but know this:
If I can get through this, you can too.
Harry is already yelling at me, we fly tonight, so I have to go.

As I said last year, this holiday season might be painful, or not pleasant for a lot of you. I know you might feel bad, or alone and unloved.
Or maybe you actually feel pretty good!
Maybe you lost someone.
Maybe you feel like you've lost yourself.
Maybe you've never been happier!
No matter who you are. No matter what you're going through, know this:
I love you.
You are going to be okay.
No matter what comes in your way, you'll get through it. Because I believe in you. If you don't believe in yourself, it's okay, I'll trust you for both of us until you can too.
And if you do believe in yourself, well, that makes two of us!
Keep your head up.
Don't stop moving forward.
You can do this.
I'm here. With you.
