WhenILoveYa: Chapter 22.5

Rita

I speed to the first place I can think of! I'm so mad! My heart is tired! My body just wants to run back to Chris, but my mind is over that entire family! I'm pissed! I don't even realize that I am crying until it is almost too hard to see. Why is everyone so full so full of shit! I see my destination in plain site, and I jump right out of the car.

Loud banging on the door

"Rita!" I hear her small voice, as she opens the door

I'm now sobbing. "Please let me stay here. I didn't know where else to go..." I say with my hands covering my face

Sevyn pulls me into a hug. "Rita, you know you can always stay here. What the hell happened? Are you okay?" She says checking me for any physical damage.

"No!" I say wiping away my tears as we walk into her den

Trey stands. I can tell I interrupted their Netflix and chill time. "Rita you aite?" He says walking over to me.

"I'll be fine." I lie. "I'm sorry for ruining your night."

"Nah, stay Rita. Your family." He hugs me tight, and then picks up all the blankets from the couch, before leaving us alone...

I wipe my nose with the tissue Sevyn brings me. "I'm just as bad as everyone else."

"Rita tell me what happened!" she says making me face her

I sniffle. "Sevyn I can't do this anymore! Chris and I had sex."

"Was it that bad?" She asks with bucked eyes

She actually giggles. "No, it was great! But then Michael came beating on the door asking Chris to come downstairs right now. We finished, and he left to go talk to him. All of a sudden, I hear my phone blowing up and its Lo..."

"Oh shit..." I sigh seeing this getting worse by the second

"Oh shit is right!" She exclaims. "Lo got caught in her house confessing her love for August. Keeis and August got into a fight, and now Michael is going around raising hell."

I shake my head. "Damn, Mijo just got into it with Ty didn't he? I already know how this ends. Michael don't play when it comes to his boys."

"He got in my face Sev!" Rita says now standing. "He was basically nose to nose with me, until Chris pulled me behind me. Michael would have fucking hit me, if Chris wouldn't have taken up for me, but then he got hit!" She says falling back onto the couch covering her eyes.

I pull her to my chest. "I know that was hard to see Rita. I've seen how he is with them. He claims that how he keeps them from becoming weak, but to me that shit is abuse."

"He left me..." She says lowly crying into the crook of my neck

"Oh Rita..."I say hugging her tighter. "What did he say?

She wipes her eyes, but tears continue to fall. "He said shit is going on, and I can't be in the middle."

"That has Michael's name all over it..." I say brushing her hair out of her face

She sits up. "I don't care! I'm his wife, Sev! He needs to grow some balls, and stand up to that man. How can you let someone have that much power over you?"

I look around for a sight of Trey. "Look Rita. As long as I hung around that man, he's more powerful than you think. He owns these guys. They do whatever he says, and sometimes he threatens them until he gets his way."
