Chapter 12

Jane's POV

I decided to join my brother in his university and took architecture for so many reasons. 1. Educational Attainment dahil maganda naman talaga ang University na'to para sa Engineering and Architecture. 2. To get to know her (my brother's ultimate crush) and to know if she feels the same. 3. To be near Him (my only love) although I think he only sees me as a younger sister and lastly dahil malapit lang siya sa bahay namin..haha

I do know my brother's ultimate crush is ate Cassie. I've seen pictures of her saved in my brother's laptop. She also has a picture of her sa room ni Kuya na naka-frame pa and placed in his bedside table (Shhhhh...huwag kayong maingay dahil hindi alam ni kuya na nakita ko iyon.)

That first time when I talked to ate Cassie sa city I didn't know yet that my brother has a crush on her... and I liked her then.. I still like her now. She doesn't treat me like a child. She treats me like one of her friends and I like it. Boto ako kay ate Cassie para sa kuya ko pero torpe lang talaga tong si Kuya. I don't really know why he's avoiding her when it's really obvious that he likes her so much. and then naisip ko.. I need to investigate and do some matchmaking...hehe

I am currently following ate Cassie wherever she goes. Ngayon papasok siya sa library. I've been tailing her since I arrived in school to find out if may boyfriend na siya. Dalawang lalaki pa naman ang nakita kong parati niyang kasama... Si kuya Raffy who I know has a girlfriend and si Kuya Jake na alam kong k.MU ni ate Tessa. I'm sure of it. Nakita ko kaya sila dati sa likod ng building having a picnic. They we're so sweet at sila lang dalawa. I even heard them whispering sweet words with each other. I just don't know if they've gone public.

Nasa likod na ako ng cabinet nagtatago habang tinitingnan si Ate Cassie na nasa isang table studying her notes with Kuya Raffy nang biglang may nag-pat ng shoulders ko. At first akala ko guni-guni ko lang kaya hindi ko pinansin pero inulit na naman yung pag-pat. As I turned my head to see kung sino ba tong nang-iistorbo sa akin. My eyes met those beautiful caramel brown eyes. As realization came to me I froze. Shaks!...I felt heat spread across my cheeks. I was caught.

"Gio!" I said

"Hi Jane! I see you're busy." He teased. Alam kong alam niya kung ano ang ginagawa ko

"....." I couldn't speak. I was too stunned and my heart's beating so fast.

dug dug dug dug dug dug

"Jane!" he called my name again. This time he held my hand and squeezed it. As I felt the warmth of his hand in mine para akong binuhusan ng ice. Binawi ko agad ang kamay ko.

"What are you up to?" he asked

"Nothing"

"I know that there's something..." he gazed at me intently

"I don't know what you're talking about..."

"Don't play dumb with me. I know you Jane.. Tell me.."

"Well...I'm..."

"You're what Jane?! spill it!" he hissed. Ayaw niya kasi ng thrill.

"I'm matchmaking!" I whispered

"with who?" he asked

"with Ate Cassie.."

"and..."

"and my brother"

"Woah! That's interesting!" he said amused

"Well... My brother likes her but he's avoiding her... and I wanna know why"

"That's even more interesting!" he grinned "...I will help you!"

"That would be great!..... but.....how?" I asked

"Well... I'll tell you a secret but promise me first no one else will know."

"Okay..I promise...Now.. what is it?"
