Chapter 21

Gio's POV

Today I'm meeting Jake, Tessa, and Jane. We are going to discuss kung ano pa ang kailangan naming gawin for our plan to bring Cassie and Derrick closer. 

Lingid sa kaalaman nilang tatlo that my plan has already started and I won't tell them that. Baka kasi mag-backfire yung ginawa ko at sisihin pa nila ako. Although I am more than a hundred percent sure that my plan will never backfire. Sigurado naman kasi ako sa mga ginagawa ko. I  always make sure to have five moves ahead with my plan. Kaya lang nga siyempre kailangan pa rin talagang sobrang maniguro.

You may be wondering kung anong ginawa ko. How my plan started? What did I do? and How will this act affect the things I am planning to do to the both of them? Well...ganito kasi iyon...

FLASHBACK: few weeks ago

I'm on my way to the airport para sunduin ang pinsan kong nagbakasyon sa ibang bansa. We agreed to meet today to catch up dahil marami daw siyang gustong ikwento at itanong sa'kin. 

Close kami nang pinsan kong ito bagamat limang taon ang agwat ng edad namin. For the past five years pagtuntong ko ng college and after his graduation eh hindi ko na siya masyadong nakikita sapagkat naging abala siya pagpapalago ng kanilang negosyo. 

I arrived at the airport just in time to see him going out. 

"Bro!" tawag ko sa kanya. Agad niya naman akong nakita sapagkat nakatingin na siya sa area ko bago ako sumigaw. Malamang nakita niya na ako bago ko pa man siya tinawag.

"Bro! How are you? How's tita and uncle?" sunod-sunod niyang tanong sa'kin nang magkalapit na kami and gives me a man hug.

"Okay lang naman bro...ganon parin...mom and dad are fine, they're at home.. they said to send their regards to you.. Ikaw ang kamusta? It's been a while bro." sagot ko naman sa kanya.

"Well...before we have this long chitchat baka gusto mo munang kumain? Gutom na ako eh.. That flight was dang long bro!" 

"Sorry..I forgot..matagal ka rin kasing hindi nagparamdam..hahahaha... There's a new restaurant 15 minutes from here.. Is it okay if we try it there?"

"Sounds good to me."

Nandito na kami ngayon sa restaurant and is waiting for our order to arrive when he started talking again.

"Oi bro! Alam mo bang kinuha ako bilang part-time instructor sa university na pinapasukan mo? baka maging student kita..hahaha" panimula niya. He's actually a graduate of Civil Engineering too and his alma mater is the same university as mine.

"Talaga bro? Ang galing naman! well...at least you'll be doing one of the things you wanted to do." sabi ko naman sa kanya. He had always wanted to teach in a university. 

"Yeah...they gave me my schedule and the class lists last night  since classes has already started. Ibig sabihin I'll have to catch up with the lessons.. haizzz..kakabalik ko lang galing sa bakasyon kaya trabaho trabaho trabaho na naman...hahahaha...anyway do you know these guys? Most of my schedules are for 4th year and 5th year students. You might know most of them.. " sabi niya sakin while handing me some papers.

I checked the papers to see kung anong classes ang iha-handle niya. Since part-timer lang naman siya binigyan lang siya ng 9 units ng university for him to handle. 2 classes were for the fifth year students and 1 is for the 4th year. 

Since wala naman akong kakilala masyado sa lower year so I just check the class list of the 5th year students. 

Advance ang classes sa fifth year ng pinsan ko kaya malamang hindi niya ako studyante ngayon. Advance classes ibig sabihin yung mga nagsummer class last time yung mga students niya ngayon... and obviously that includes both Cassie and Derrick.
