"Eat it."
"No."
"Just eat it Luke."
"No, Michael that's disgusting!"
Calum, Ashton and I watched the exchange between Luke and Michael in amusement.
Michael was trying to get Luke to eat a slice of pickle that had fallen on the floor. I'm surprised Skander didn't even go for it and he loves anything off the floor.
"Cmon Lukey, five second rule, just eat it." Michael tried again to get convince the tall blonde. Luke's nose wrinkled in disgust.
"Why don't you give it to Skander?" Luke questioned and turned his head away as Michael dangled the pickle slice in front of his face.
"This is getting boring. Can we go to the arcade or something?" Ashton whined and laid his head on my shoulder as we sat at the island.
"How long do you think it will take them to figure out we're gone?" Calum whispered, smirking.
I chuckled and grabbed Ashton's hand, pulling him off the stool.
"Probably not long, so let's go."
~
The three of us sat on the swings at a park down the street.
I swung gently, enjoying the atmosphere. Ashton twisted his swing and spun about until he was dizzy. Calum was trying to go as high as he could without flying off and breaking his face.
There were some little kids with their parents going down the slide or attempting the monkey bars.
It was a beautiful spring day, despite the breeze. I wore Michael's leather vest and a hoodie, which protected me against the wind.
"Thanks for ditching us." Luke's voice was heard and I looked up to see the two boys we'd left to bicker.
"Did he eat the pickle?" I asked Michael who walked around behind me and gently pushed my swing.
"Nope." He replied popping the 'p'.
"Scaredy cat." I said and smirked when Luke gave me the middle finger. I just stuck my tongue out at him.
"Nnghhh I feel sick." Ashton said suddenly and ran towards a trash can. I stopped swinging as I saw him hover over the can and empty his stomach. I sighed and went to help him.
"You're too precious Ash." I chuckled lightly referring to his youth-like and hyper nature.
"Mm thanks." The curly-haired boy definitely was one of a kind.
"Come on, let's go get some ice cream." I said and watched as Ashton shot up with excitement. Luke giggled as Ashton started jumping around. "He's got the attention span of a goldfish."
The five of us headed off towards the high street, where there was a yummy ice cream shop.
~
A knock on my window sounded.
I jumped and checked my phone. It was way past midnight. I was still in my track uniform. And I knew of one person who would come to my window like Romeo.
But Michael's way better than Romeo. Plus, that story was terrible. Greatest love story my ass.
I opened the door for Michael and gasped when I saw he had dyed his hair black. God damn. He looked hot.
"Hey angel." He said, placing a kiss on my cheek and plopping on my bed like he lived there.
"Your hair is gonna fall out if you keep dying it." I said crossing the arms and leaning against the door.
"Well hello to you too." He grinned and chuckled. I refrained from rolling my eyes and instead shook my head.
I walked over to my bed and sat down beside Michael, cross-legged. "You know you can't just come to my house in the middle of the night and chill on my bed with your awesome hair."
Michael let out a loud laugh and I shushed him. "I'd rather not get in trouble."
"You won't if you get dressed and come with me." Michael said getting up and leaving the room. Though I was confused, I decided against questioning my boyfriend.
I slipped out of my track suit and put on leggings, one of Calum's shirts and a sweater. As I laced up my Converse, Michael came returned, with a bright eyed Calum in tow.
"Can someone tell me what's happening?" I asked and followed the boys out to my balcony.
I closed the door and we climbed down one at time. Once my feet hit the ground, I was bombarded by a very excited Ashton. "Hi Della!" He pulled me into a big bear hug. He set me down and I noticed Luke leaning against Calum's car. He waved and I waved back.
Everyone got into the car, with Michael driving and Calum riding shotgun. I sat between Luke and Ash and just watched as the street lamps lit our way.
"Seriously, where are we going?" I asked, getting impatient.
We came to a stop sign and Michael looked at me through the rear view mirror. I raised an eyebrow and he grinned then started driving again.
"We're going on an adventure."
