Knock knock
Knock knock
Knock kno-I opened my door still in my pajamas, pissed to be woken up in the middle of my beauty sleep.
I rubbed some sleep out of my eyes while I swung the door open.
At least if you are avoiding someone I school you don't necessarily see them first thing in the morning.
"Oh,look the one face I don't want to hurt my eyes by seeing in the morning."
" Well. You're not my choice face either. Your father wants me to drive you to school so hurry up and get your ass to the bathroom."
I turned my head to my left. Crap. My adoptive mother with a scowl on her face. I guess my head just happened to look at my bodyguard who is stationed outside my room for my protection.
"I'm so so sorry." I apologised sincerely. She shrugged me off . "Its fine ,just hurry up." She walked to the elevator on my floor her heels click clacking making her presence known.
I was about to close my door when a hand stopped it.
"I know that comment was meant for me, so I'll grace you with my reply."
I raised my eyebrows, knowing he couldn't do better than me.
"Oh, I'm sorry I was looking for a human female who lives here not frankensteins twin sister. I banged my door in his face.Prick
I could here his stifled laughter outside the door.
I showered and got dressed for the hell I call school. Week two now which means I only have 8 weeks left till I can go to LA for my road trip with my friends.
And then it'll be good riddance San Diego.I will make it through this...
I mean sure I just found out that I was adopted and that I have had some hell scary things go on in my life, but come on. There's a bright side to this, right??
There just has to be.

I met up with crystal on my way to my locker, of course with Mr.Roberts right behind me. "I'm throwing a party next week, you should come."
I shrugged not really in the mood to get drunk and forget the huge problems I had, also it wouldn't be so great if in my drunken state I let something slip.
"Nah I'm not feeling the party vibe." "of course not" she said as if I just stated the most obvious thing in the world. I raised a confused eyebrow. She rolled her eyes, "Its a Monday, you definitely wont be feeling it." I rolled my eyes at her, frustrated at her 'common logic'. "Then why in this worlds name did you ask me!?"
I growled under my breath.
The nerve of some people
she looked at me like i was some strange animal at the zoo, "are you okay because like, I don't know you seem angry or something."
I plastered on a fake smile and laughed like i had no idea what she was talking about. "What do you mean,I'm fine okay. I'll meet you in cafeteria later okay?" she nodded. I started walking towards the bathroom when she quickly called out to me, "Don't we have English today..." I didn't turn around all I did was keep on walking. my patience with everything was wearing thin and the last thing on my mind was whether or not I graduate.
I opened the door to the girls bathroom and to my surprise Mr. Roberts saw nothing of it and just kept on following me. i few girls screeched and ran out as if they were indecent, others stayed to observe the eye-candy like a bunch of hungry dogs getting ready to bare their teeth into a nice piece of juicy steak.
I turned to face him before they could pounce. "Mr. Roberts I don't think you should be in here. he looked shocked at my formal tone as if he wasn't the one who wanted a strictly professional relationship. he sobered up from the shock quickly and replied. "I am here yo protect you no matter where you are." I rolled my eyes. "You're here to protect me not violate my right to privacy now please get out and don't make me ask again!" I replied to him in a hushed tone. He looked at me as if considering my request and then quietly left his expression unreadable.
I did my business in the bathroom washed my hands and was about to leave when the girls from before blocked my path. I sighed," is there something you need because as you know I am way past the late bell and would not like to spend the rest of my day in a bathroom smelling these smells just for the sake of bunking. "The one in the centre glared at me, but brushed it off like I hadn't said anything. She acted shy which i knew she was probably anything but. She then asked me slowly emphasizing each word and wasting a whole lot of my time, "Um mm.... We were just wondering if maybe you could give us a leg up with the new guy who you obviously know."
I laughed right in her face you know those dry laughs that basically mean hell no and only last a few seconds. "First of all I don't even know him that well, second of all he doesn't even go to school. Thirdly I have no idea who you are ,so there is no chance I'd help you. Maybe if you'd started with 'hi my name is...' I would have thought about it, but now....''
I shoved past her and her friends but with the door half open i looked back at them still wearing shocked and angry expression, if I wasn't brave i would have ran the moment they turned their stares to me, but instead i spoke to them again. "you know there's a tap right there it might help fulfill your thirstyness. " I didn't wait for their expression this time i just left.
As soon as i was out the bell rang and i fell in with the other student and walked away to my next class, one that I would actually go to.
