Obsession

Chapter 19

"I will love you forever and always." I smiled as Luke's words swelled my already in love heart.
"And I will love through blood and fire through pain and suffering through everything and anything. Forever and always. He smiled and kissed me on my cheek. I loved that most about him he was slow with knowing what his boss made me do with so many other men. He found me crying one time. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Two years they had been training us and disciplining us and killing our hope but this year they established us as ready. We shook so much from the constant heroine intake they gave us. Some had died from overdose and others had died from men who got too violent and we had had  started being sent on escapades 16 months ago I was sure I wouldn't survive. After the man or woman used you for pleasure they left and you had five minutes to run back to the giant room filled with a bunch of people,no mattresses nothing. Just you and the floor. I had just been on an escapade and as weak as i was i put on my clothes and began to jog but i had no idea where i was going. I knew that if you m isbehaved they would dose you with more heroine then they would take you somewhere I had never been and do something I didn't even know of. It scared me to break the rules. Recently everyone had been so diligent that they would blindfold us before taking us to the rooms. I was the first one requested after this new rule. No one expected me back alive.
I slid down next to a door and heard an angry voice shouting things I could barely register. I rejoiced that's what our room sounded like. I wildly swung the door open. My heart dropped ,a boy about my age was sitting playing PlayStation. He paused and looked at me. On his face was confusion? I began to cry and backed out slowly shaking. I tried but my legs were numb with fear. I was grabbed by him. I wanted to scream but knew it wouldn't help. I froze when I realized he was hugging me, trying to comfort me. He let go. "Better?" I was in shock. He looked unsure so he led me into his room. He gave me a glass of water which I drank thankfully.
Suddenly the door was opened. It was a guard he slapped me across the cheek and I dropped the glass. It shattered. "Hey come on you're hurting her Carl." Carl laughed "that's the point." He spit on Carl's face and Carl boiled with anger. He gritted his teeth and asked. "Why is she here?" I gulped it was over. But what he said caught my breath. "I saw her on her way and grabbed her so I could be here client and she was drinking water because she just had a client and needs energy to perform well. Now leave us and don't question me again." He growled but left. "Luke, my name is luke. What's  yours?"
"S521." He laughed a good booming laugh. He left. My heart hampered. Should I leave and run? No. I sat still and was glad I did when I saw him come back with so much food. He smiled gently at me. "I brought tacos and chicken salad. Sorry its all I could snag from the kitchen." I was amazed by his kindness. "By the way I don't believe in what is done to you guys but I'm just as much of a prisoner here. Okay that's a lie but its something like that."
After I had finished some food. He let me out and drew me a little map of line a showing all pathways to help me out. "Thank you." I said then I ran. He was the only one who requested me for months I think he made sure of that then he would teach me how to play his game and we'd laugh. I stopped being shy around him and was finding my strength around him he fed me and helped me sneak food back to the others it was hard to pretend to be sad around the guard's but I did because I realized I didn't want to lose this.

When he first told me he loved me and kissed me. I smiled as I walked out. 7 months we had been partners in crime and everyone was getting healthy and I was really in love with him he was even teaching me things he learnt and good thing I was a fast learner and caught on quickly. I wrote tests and even beat him. He let me watch news. I let all the girls know these things. I brought hope to us all. We had known each other for eight months and I was more than grateful I was deep in love and that's when we created our forever and always love thing.

I sat thinking about this on New years eve we waited for midnight and kissed. Then he sprung it on me. "I wanna help you escape." I hugged him so hard best news I had heard all my life. I was ready to the girls when we heard a knock. He quickly took off his shirt and ruffled his hair then I took off my top and slid under blankets. "Oh hey dad he said. In a way that sounded like he was worried. I heard a deep voice speak to him. "Vhy are you here instead of vith your muther she says you had been ignoring her for vone of my slits who is here correct."His Russian accent was thick and I felt I had heard his voice before. He entered and I almost screamed the terror in my eyes was enough to please him. I know him he was the was the one who watched us first get tested and he watched from a distance. He was the boss...
"Get out!" He said and I scrambled to put my top on but he dragged me painfully. "Dad. Stop! You're hurting her please stop." He pleaded  His dad back handed  him and spit on his shoes. He dragged me to the room threw me to Carl and said. "Take her to the red room and sell her to the highest bidder." "No!! Dad please." His dad screamed for him to get out. He grabbed me bridal style out of Carl's arms. "I love her and I won't let you hurt her!  For eight months I have nursed her back to health and I haven't slept with her once I love her and I refuse to let you hurt her!!" The room was filled with shocked silence. He slowly put me down and I ran and sat next to a girl named Caroline my closest friend. We held hands tight and watched him and his father leave with him.
That night he came gave me and Caroline a map to the outside. "What about everyone else I whispered." "I can't get them all out sorry I'm risking it letting this one out." He said pointing at Caroline." I'm sorry babe." He kissed me. "We will meet again just try and tell no one anything." "Fine but I'm taking her with me." I said referring to another girl named Jenny who me and Caroline had bonded with.
That night we ran for our lives but the guys caught on and killed Jenny without thinking twice we ran not just for ourselves but for every other girl in there never looking back. We arrived at the police station and I gave the Luke's map. That night Luke's dad was arrested and Luke was given a medal for his bravery. They saved as many girls as they could find and arrested countless people. Luke came up to me and kissed me. "I will love you forever and always but I will never forgive you for this and believe you will regret this. Luke and his mom went back to Russia. My PTSD was so bad I had short term memory loss. I was adopted by a rich couple because my father committed suicide out of sadness and she blamed me. I had a four year old sister born the year I left. It had been two years since then.

From the first of January 2012 till the first of January 2016. And now it is 2018. Two years I spent partying drinking and trying to forget it all. And here I was holding a letter from Luke the love of my life who I hadn't heard from in two years.
