Obsession

Chapter 22

I woke up breathing heavily trying to forget everything I'd seen and felt in my dreams I took an extra long shower trying to cleanse myself of.... myself. I stared at the jacket I walked towards it and took out the sandwich bag. I poured a little, closed it securely and put it back in the jacket. I separated it into four lines with my debit card then I took a note rolled it like a cigarette and breathed it in. Line by line, at first I felt a bit weird like I was gonna sneeze it all out. Then I felt exhilarated and excited. A part of me just wanted to jump up and down scream,run,laugh. I started laughing uncontrollably. I gathered myself and just in time when Calvin walked in. "Aaaaaah!" I screamed he jumped at my reaction. "Fucking perv I could've been naked." He blushed "Sorry." I smiled seductively and jumped up on my bed. From this view I was a little taller than him. I walked to him standing on the edge of the bed. "Unless that's what you wanted." I whispered. He raised and eyebrow and dropped then sighed. "I told you we c-" I put my finger on his lips "shhh, that's what you say but your eyes say they want me. When your mouth and your eyes start coordinating come talk to me again." I then dramatically leapt into his arms lucky he caught me, I then laughed and jumped out of his arms. I walked into the bathroom and stripped not bothering with the door. His mouth dropped open. "You can join if you want." I winked at him and he left the room 'lifted' by the sights he'd seen.
After getting ready for school I went downstairs. "Gooood Morning Family!!!" I sung at the top of my lungs. My mom looked at me dumbfounded while my dad was sceptical. I just laughed and grabbed everyone and started dancing in a circle. I jumped and everyone stopped looking at me as if they were waiting for an explosion. "C'mon Seth school awaits our young minds." We skipped to my car but we were stopped by Calvin. I pouted "Aww missed me already." He laughed then he opened the drivers seat door and got in. "This is my car you know." "I'm well aware but you're either massively intoxicated at 8 a.m. or... yea no pretty much that."

"Or I'm super happy and since I haven't felt this emotion in a while I can't get enough." He gave me a sympathetic smile. "Fine whatever but as long as you're living on cloud nine I'll be driving." I rolled my eyes but got in anyway.
I walked into Joe's house smiling from ear to ear, not only because there was no school till next week but because something about this drug made me feel alive. I was let in by Joe's helper so I immediately went up to his room. His room was very much like a bachelor pad it had a huge tv and gorgeous white couches. He had a mini fridge and there were about 3 steps leading up to his bed his bathroom was in a corner but still very large. I sat on his bed and waited for him to finish his shower. When he exited the bathroom he yelped the moment I screamed Surprise. I laughed and so did he when finally he cleared his throat. "I do need to get dressed though." I smiled "what's stopping you." He looked at me as if sending me a telepathic message. I rolled my eyes. "Oh please its nothing I haven't seen before. He chuckled and just grabbed his clothes and went back to the bathroom. When he came out he was fully dressed in a casual white top and a blue jacket with a pair of dark denim jeans. I checked him out, everything from his sleek jaw with his fuzzy 5 o clock shadow to his brown timbalands. "Okay come on, you wanna get breakfast?" I smiled cheekily still buzzed from my high. "Depends what I'm eating." He laughed. "Okay, jokes aside I'm starving." I laughed still playing with him. "I hear I can be very fulfilling. I jumped up on his bed, replicating the position I had been in with Calvin earlier. Only this time things were going to be different. He smiled "Well you know what they say, desserts the new breakfast." I shook my head. "Neeever heard anyone say th-" he cut me off leaning forward and pushing me my back flat against his bed. I lifted my knees and he leaned over them closer to my lips. I pushed my leg gently out and pushed him away.  He pushed my leg to the side and lay on his side next to me. I turned to face him and he ran his hands through my hair and pulled me closer he closed his eyes and placed his lips on mine and this time my mouth welcomed him, his fragrance,his taste. I've never believed in the whole his kiss took my breath away but WoW, lets just say Joe is the Prince in basically every Disney movie. We kissed passionately in the moment the world was just us just our happiness. I may have been running on a major high but I felt a passion a fun a happiness a freedom I hadn't felt in a long time and I'd be fanned if I let this slip through the fingers. I flipped us over and we rolled as our bodies fought for dominance I won. I took off my shirt. We continued kissing our bodies entertwined, when suddenly Joe's door opened. In the rush to grab my shirt from the floor and Joe jumping up. I was lifted from the bed and went hurtling to the floor I screamed. I sat up quickly and put on my shirt while Joe straightened his appearance. We both looked up and saw Calvin staring at Joe in disgust. Me.... he didn't even look at me. I forgot after he dropped me off at Joe's place he dropped Seth at school and told me he'd be coming back here.

AWKWARD.

I stood up and walked over to him. "We were about to have breakfast you wanna join?" I heard Joe snicker from the bed, "Are you sure you're up for that?" It clicked in my head what he meant and I gasped sharply. He laughed some more. "You should probably save your breath." I ran over to the bed and jumped onto him. "You asshole!" I said laughing we laughed and i jumped off the bed pretending to be mad at him. I looked at Calvin  he was acting like such a third wheel instead of just  being my bodyguard in the professional manner he requested. I ran as Joe begged for my forgiveness all the way down the steps. We sat at his bar and ate our bacon and eggs. We talked about everything and made plans for the day. We decided to go to a carnival with the others tonight. It was Crystals favourite place to go with the group. We had all been invited to her funeral on Saturday. Her mom asked Owen to give the eulogy because of how close they were. I grabbed Joe's hand suddenly and turned on his radio. I started dancing and he joined me, out of the corner of my eye I noticed Calvin staring at me his eyes piercing me with a look of longing.

When we arrived at the carnival it seemed sad and depressing. No one was on a single ride. I could see most of our school members there. As we entered we received a lit candle. Rebecca gave a short speech and ended saying. "Crystal, babe your light will shine on in our hearts,but your job here is done." She then blew out her candle and we all followed suit.
