Ready or not here I come. Hahaha
Found you!I woke up. Sweat covered my body. Last night I had brushed of Calvin's question and told him it was an invitation to the funeral that I'd been carrying around. I took a shower. I sighed once I'd gotten dressed. Owens' parents had come over. They'd told me they didn't blame me at all. Wish Crystals mom felt the same. Anyway, they gave me a package that had been in Owens bedroom with my name on it. They promised they hadn't looked inside and when I opened the package I knew they were telling the truth. The school had only added an extra day for us to skip so now on Tuesday we were going to go back. I put my hair into a sleek bun. Put on my sunglasses and took the elevator downstairs. I met up with Calvin there and I walked out the door. I wasn't really hungry. It was six a.m. in the morning, I had asked Calvin to be ready at this time yesterday. I chose to take the Jeep it would definitely help me. I drove down the road. I stopped at Rays' house. I took a deep breath. "Here we go."
I knocked on his door. Lucky for me he opened the door. He ran a hand through his hair, yawned and looked at me. "Is there something you needed." I smiled. "Hey,morning nice to see you too."
No reaction...
"Okay well I have a surprise for you. Get in the car." He looked at me and I mean really looked at me. Then his face became angry. "You really think after all that's happened I would go anywhere with you." He closed his door.
I think the worst part is that he didn't shout or scream. He just seemed down. Sad. Broken.
I stood on his porch.
A tear trickled down my cheek as I got in the car. "You, okay?" Calvin asked I just kept driving another tear slipped. I arrived at Rebecca's house. I wiped my tears and dried my face. I cleared my throat. "I'm fine. Just perfect really."I knocked and heard commotion that sounded a lot like someone complaining. The door swung open violently. "Oh sorry. I'm super glad you're not a stranger. Otherwise I'm pretty sure right now I'd be dying of embarrassment from answering the door like this.
I looked at Rebecca's outfit. She was wearing a pair of pink shorts and a black tank top. She actually looked super cute she had her brown hair in a ponytail. She had dark brown eyes and Brown skin. All in all I was jealous of how fad she could look after just waking up.
"You can take a picture you know it might last longer." She said catching me staring at her. She laughed. "I'm kidding you know. Come in." I walked in and smiled at her. Her house was beautiful a double storey with a black and white theme covering the house. She introduced me to her mom then we went to her room. It had purple walls and black furniture. "Woow this is nice!" I exclaimed. She laughed. "O please says the one with a moat surrounding her house. "How did you know where I live?" House was empty, now it's full. I can put two and two together." I nodded. "How did you know where I live?" She asked. I laughed "yeah unlike you I'm just a total stalker." We laughed. "Anyway I came here because I just wanted to give you a surprise. I know you might not be feeling it but I-" she cut me off. "I'll be ready in ten minutes. I laughed as she grabbed her stuff and went to the bathroom. We talked while I lay on her bed and she showered. I explained that I thought everyone might need a break, but that I thought Ray took it for me not caring. "No Ray just like totally blames you for Crystal and Owens' deaths. He's been spending way too much time with Crystals mom. No one else really blames you." I smiled glad to hear I wasn't being blamed. A part of me though felt it was my fault. I could see from their points of view. "Anyway that bitch is pretending Crystals mom died long ago that little whore probably just needed something to hit be causes Crystals dad is divorcing her. Ray is only listening to her because they used to roll around. Probably gon start at it again. He never even liked Crystal and no one liked Owen. He was such a stoner, real lame. I blushed shy that I'd taken drugs from him. "It's not like we're glad his dead though. It just that we'll miss Crystal a hell of a lot more. God I miss her which is why I think this is a great idea. We all need to be happy for her sake I know you only knew her for like three weeks, but I think she had this way of making people love and with the funeral...... I think we all need a loong break." So you're cool with it, even though we have school today." "Oh yeah definitely, fuck school."She grabbed her packed traveling bag and we went downstairs. She told her mom and her mom seemed perfectly okay with it she told her to be safe and they hugged. I looked at her my eyes screaming how? She flipped her hair and told me she was skilled. I raised my eyebrows. "Fine I told her I needed time a getaway from school and then you showed up so it sorta just worked out." We entered the car and she waved flirting at Calvin. "I'll never get over how hot he is." I laughed. In my head I thought.
You and me both Rebecca.
We got in the car and Rebecca asked Calvin to move. "Sorry I feel I can better protect my client from this point." We rolled our eyes in unison. "Pretty please." I begged. He still refused. "Ugh you're such a buzzkill bill." Rebecca got in the back and sat in the centre seat. "Who's next?" She asked. "Jessica and Jennifer?" I nodded my head. "It's actually Jessica first." She shook her head. "They've been staying together. Jenn has been struggling to cope. Haven't you read your phone its like you and Joe are just in your own worlds." She stopped then she gasped. "Or have you been...." I laughed. "Oh my gosh. No." She looked at me and I blushed and I just looked away turning back to the road. She squealed and I almost stopped as she started whacking me in her excitement. "Ow,ow." She smiled. "So are you guys like a thing." "I don't know." I said shyly. She laughed and poked me. "This is so cute." I stopped the car we had arrived.
I got the car and knocked on Jessica's front door. I checked the time. It was almost seven. The door opened and Jessica was dressed to kill. "Where are you going." I asked. "Oh hey." she replied. "School same as you." Jennifer came down the stairs also dressed super nice. She waved, "I didn't know we were having company." Jessica shrugged and replied saying she didn't either. Just as I was about ask about their actual plans seeing as Jessica was wearing a pair of knee high boots with leggings, a long sleeve dress. While Jennifer had on a pair of combat boots with jeggings and a long black jacket reaching her legs to match her champagne tank top.
"Holy hell. You guys dress up well. Then again I'm looking all too fab myself." Rebecca said as she joined us on the porch. I couldn't agree more she was wearing long high waisted jeans and a black long sleeved lacy crop top. With a soft fluffy coat to keep her warm. I was wearing ankle boots with blue jeans. I had on a black coat and a golden brown beanie.
We smiled. "Okay we've got the girls now let's pick up the guys. "What?" They asked. Me and Rebecca smiled knowingly. "I have a surprise for you guys so hurry up and get your assets in the car before we freeze. We all hurried to the car and got in. I started driving again when Rebecca excited announced that me and Joe were dating. I literally stopped the car and began denying it but I eventually admitted to liking him just a little. Calvin offered to drive. I got the feeling he didn't enjoy my friends for a month now as much as I did. Oh well...
