Throughout the ride there was very little talk between the three of us which is just downright abnormal. I guess none of us wanted to ask the pending question in all of our minds.
Where would we go from this, how would we keep in touch, when would we visit each other.
So many questions are currently flowing through my head and my heart is aching. I know that the only reason none of us have voiced our thoughts is because we're either to scared to know the answers or because we know just talking about it will make us break down. I always put on a mask of cool calm and collected but half the time I'm frustrated, scared and worried.
We have just entered San Diego and I had barely noticed that we had arrived because my mind was swirling.
"Hey guys, don't you feel like stopping for lunch before we stop at my new house."
"Yeah, definitely." Replied Jenna. Her voice sounded a bit croaky probably from the fact that it hasn't been used for a while now. James just nodded his head and pulled up at a nearby mall so we could have so lunch.
We stopped at the nearest burger king and went inside to order our meals we then poured our drinks and went to sit at a table in the restaurant.
While we were eating I tried to make some light conversation but eventually it got awkward and we all decided it would be best to just reminisce in our last moment as friends for now.
Okay, okay we are done with the sappy shit now.
Beep,beep
I look at my phone and see that I have a new message. Probably from my mom asking where we are, we were supposed to arrive at one but it's almost two now.
Mom- I am going to hunt you down and kill you if you are not here in the next thirty minutes. (:
Well isnt she just a bright ray of sunshine. I have no idea what's up with her but I can tell she's pissed I mean why else would there be a smiley face next to a threatening message.
Beep, beep
Another message it's obvious she really needs a life. I roll my eyes as I get in the car.
Mom- ):
Okay now I'm really lost is she sad, angry, happy or just bored.
Eventually we arrive at the house and I am shocked, appalled, confused and very sure I want to take over my dad's business and do whatever he does when I'm older.
All three of us step back a little to get a glimpse of the entire house, it is beyond massive it is beautiful. I'm literally having a heart attack knowing I will be living here.
We have no neighbours and we live on the outskirts sort of. The house is cream and it has about nine floors and an elevator. We have a lot of new elegant furniture and there are no boxes around because my mom paid people to unpack and clean up before we all arrived.
My bedroom looks fantastic, the room has an en suite bathroom just like every other bedroom in the house. It also has a study room attached to it. I have a walk in closet with a lot of new clothes and shoes courtesy of my mother she didn't want it to look empty. My walls are a light pinkish-creamish colour. My posters, perfume, makeup and other necessities each have their own neat space.
My room is on the seventh floor and it's is wonderful because my balcony gets a great view of our backyard. The eighth floor is my parents bedroom and a few guest bedrooms. The ninth floor is off limits to all because it is my dad's work area.
My brothers room is on the fifth floor and the sixth floor is filled with entertainment areas for both mine and my brothers friends. On that floor there is everything from salons to game rooms to gym areas.
On the fourth floor we have storage rooms with old memories, rooms filled with pictures and old toys and blankets me and my brother used to love. So the fourth floor is basically a trip done memory lane.
Yep, extremely creepy, so I'll never be caught dead on that floor.
The third floor is filled with new kids toys and cribs and baby pools and play areas
The second floor is the bedrooms of all the helpers like maids, butlers and even a chef's bedroom.
Lastly the floor I saw first is the one with the massive kitchen, a library ,dining and living room.
I found it weird that I already have my bearings right in this new house I felt at home around here. Surprisingly enough we actually don't have a pool our house is surrounded by a gorgeous dark blue man-made lake and we park our cars in the garage after we drive down the driveway/bridge to our house and I can feel the tears of joy streaming down my face.
And just like that I'm in love with San Diego and am so over LA.
"WELCOME TO SAN DIEGO BITCHES, AND WELCOME HOME!" I scream at the top to James, Jenna and my family.
"Language , Juliet" I roll my eyes.
Way to ruin a moment mom.
Hope you enjoyed it. Please vote, comment, sit back relax and enjoy the ride on the book obsession.
