I woke up to a loud knock on my door. "Come in." Rebecca said groggily. The door opened and the small of eggs bacon and toast wafted into the room. "Mmmm" I sighed breathing it in. I opened my eyes. There was Joe carrying a tray with eggs bacon and toast. And a saucer of strawberries and chocolate sauce. I yelped excitedly and rushed into the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and hair and washed my face I then came out and gave Joe a kiss on his cheek. "What's this for?" He smiled. "For the best girlfriend ever." I laughed and we kissed again. Our kiss was broken by the sound of Rebecca crunching into my toast. We looked at her and she yelped as I whacked her. I tried again but she ran out the room. Probably to get her own food. I walked back in. I shut the door and sat on the bed next to Joe. I leaned towards him and grabbed the toast behind him. I laughed at his shocked face. "What? It's good. You may be the best 10 hour boyfriend so far." He kissed my cheek. "10 hours and many many more hours to come. He stole a piece of bacon before heading back to his bedroom. I shouted in protest, but he just winked at me.
We headed to the Beach since it was considerably warmer than yesterday. Thank goodness it was finall heating up though it was only the beginning of April and still not far into spring. I laughed as we shivered in our bikinis and shorts. No one wanted to go into the water so after half an hour we went back inside and decided to swim in the heated pool. I was chilling on the edge when Joe dragged me in. We shared a lot of kisses underwater. Only Rebecca knew we were dating. Others had suspicions especially now we were being very happy and affectionate towards each other.
Brad swam over. I let go of Joe. "Hey." He kissed my cheek causing Joe to clear his throat. He looked at Joe. Then kissed him on the cheek too. I laughed as Joe shoved him gently. We swam to where the rest of the group was. Joe well ahead of us. "Are you guys official now?" I smiled and nodded. He smiled brightly and hugged me. We then caught up with Joe, who slipped his arms around my waist as we all stood by the shallow side.
"Guys the phone's have been blowing up like crazy." Said Rebecca. "We should check on them maybe." Said Jessica. I laighed, "Bullshit. I turned them all off." The rest laughed at the two of them. "Having tech withdrawals already guys." Said Joe and Brad added. "Don't worry I think your instagram followers will live." Jennifer laughed but didn't add on.
We were left in a comfortable silence.
Suddenly we heard a door bang shut. Immediately it was evident as we all jumped. Calvin grabbed his gun. He turned the safety off and slowly walked into the house.
"Stop!" I shouted laughing a little. "Really you guys are just paranoid. It was most likely just the wind. I got out the water dripping. I then walked to Calvin. And almost walked in the to check. He stopped me. "No matter what you believe it is still my job to do a full sweep of the house. Make sure it is safe."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Do what you want." I jumped in the pool causing them to shriek Jessica, Jennifer and Rebecca screaming the loudest from outside the water. They glared at me. "You are so dead screeched Jessica." "Not while you're out there." I taunted. She jumped in as I screeched and started swimming away. Rebecca and Jennifer got in attacking me and even the boy's ganged up on me. "This isn't fair." I whined swimming for dear life. "At the least my boyfriend should be on my side."
*gasps*
I blushed. "You guys its not a big deal." Jess and Jenn being the only ones who didn't know squealed and cheered. Then suddenly the game was back on. I screamed and cursed as they lifted me. They all walked out me still being carried. Then jenn and jess grabbed my arms each one holding an arm while brad and Rebecca grabbed a leg each. Joe stood there laughing. I glared at him and he held his hands up in surrender, but still couldn't keep his laugh in. They counted "one." They started swinging me side to side. "two." Uh oh I knew what they were gonna do. Before I could start struggling. "Three!!" They shouted and I screamed as I was launched into the pool. I landed heavily on the warm water. I came out the water and yelped as they shouted "WAAAH!!"
I groaned as they laighed more. I got out dried off. "You're all awful. Big bullies." I said feigning anger. "Aw come on we're sorry." Brad said but I raised my eyebrows cause of the crazy smile on his face. They got out and ran to hug me. "No no stop. You're gonna make me wet." Joe laughed. "With just a hug. Wow,I knew I was attractive but keep it together girl." I scoffed "Don't flatter yourself." "Obviously. That's your job." I rolled my eyes when I felt Jessica's cold wet body around me. "U ghh." I whined and was about to say something when Calvin entered.
We looked at him expectantly. "Safe." He said. "Like I said." I pointed out then went inside to shower and change. I was in my towel fresh from my shower. When there was a knock on the door. "Come in I said tightening my towel. Joe walked in. Clearly undressing me with his eyes not that there was much to undress. "Hey my eyes are over her I said." He looked up. "Oh I know." I shoved him. "I came in to tell you to wear something nice tonight but seeing you in this towel I'm not sure you should wear anything at all." I punched his arm, but kissed him anyway. He took off his shirt. We kissed some more when I frowned. He stopped. "What's up?" I shrugged hos question off. "Its nothing." He raised a questioning eyebrow. He then came up behind me. He hugged and leaned his chin on my head and started playing with my fingers. "Come on you can tell me anything." I sighed as he placed a kiss on my neck. "I just.. I'm so happy here. With you with the others. A part of me doesn't want to go back. We were supposed to be here for two days. Today and yesterday and then be back on the road. But. I feel like none of have been this happy in such a long time. Nobody is even bothering to ask when we leave. I turned to face him. Is it bad that I just wanna stay here forever?" He smiled and gently held my cheeks. "Not in the slightest Jules. With all the drama and loss we've been dealing with its actually the only normal response." I smiled and he hugged me. "Now put on something nice. So I can take my new girlfriend and on a date." I smiled. "Ooh. When you put it like that." I kissed his cheek. He left the room. I smiled.
