[Dustin's P.O.V]
Once I was home my mom made dinner. My dad was just getting home from his job at the Swantelle Research Center. He worked as the Chief Executive Officer; he made sure that the company was doing fine, and nothing was wrong that would jeopardize the sake of the company. It had been a long day for the entire family. Once he got home I opened the front door and greeted him with a smile. "Hi dad, how was your day?"
"It was good Dustin. And yours."
"Pretty good, I went to the doctor's office today, and they were sending the blood sample to the Research facility to get it analyzed." I answered. "They don't know what it is yet, all we know is that I have an enlarging rash and a fever that is trying to go away."
"Well, maybe everything will go away tomorrow and you'll be better."
"Yeah, I hope so. I hope whatever it is isn't contagious or anything, I don't need it to spread, especially to you two."
"I don't want it to spread either. Now how about we go see your mother."
"That sounds good." I answered, following dad into the kitchen where mom was making Shrimp Pasta; my favorite.

[Dad's P.O.V]
"Hi honey." I said kissing my beautiful wife.
"Good. Do you want garlic bread with the pasta?" My wife Angela asked.
"Yes. I'll get it started." I said, walking to the freezer and pulling out the Garlic Knots. I then proceeded to pre-heating the oven to 350 degrees. "So Angela, how was your day?"
"It was nice."
"That's good."
The oven dinged cheerfully and I placed the Garlic Knots on a tray and placed them in the oven. Soon the house would be filled with the mouthwatering smell of garlic bread.
Ten minutes later dinner was ready. My wife had finished the pasta, and the garlic rolls were ready, so I decided to pull them out of the oven.
I didn't know where Dustin was, so I went upstairs to see if he was in his room. The house was too quiet. "Dustin?" I asked, knocking on his bedroom door then opening it slowly. "Dustin?" I couldn't believe what I saw, it was strange. Dustin was laying on his bed, his clothes ripped and torn, blood soaked the bed, and still lay fluid on his chest and abdomen. "Ang! Get up here now and call an ambulance!" I yelled with all my might.
"What happened!" She screamed, grabbing the phone and sprinting up the stairs. Her chocolate brown eyes glistened with pain, fear, and sadness at the sight she witnessed in front of her. She slowly dialed 911 in a trance, still staring at Dustin's altered body. Dustin was still barely breathing, his eyes glossed over, possibly due to the pain that he just endured.

As 911 answered I was still in shock. "9-1-1 what's your emergency?"
"I need an ambulance, I don't really know what happened, just get an ambulance, my son is in shock. Hurry our address is 421 GoodMark Way, and my name is Angela Western. He's bleeding real bad, what do I do?"
"Put pressure on the wound, and we'll be there shortly."
"Okay thank you so much." I said, starting to cry. The dispatcher stayed on the line with me, trying to keep me calm. My husband got a towel and wrapped in on top of Dustin. The blood soaked through it, and Dustin thrashed around in pain and agony. What the hell was happening to him, would he be alright. I just don't know.
So much for dinner, but this is more important, Dustin must live, or else I won't know what to do with myself. The doctors at the Research Facility better analyze his blood before it's too late. We need to figure out what happened. Just outside, the ambulance flashed, and the paramedics ran up the stairs. The dispatcher hung up, and we were alone with medical personnel, a gurney, and a very bloody son. The paramedics lifted him onto the gurney, and carefully, yet swiftly got him into the ambulance. One of the medics came up to me and asked, "What happened ma'am. Do you know?"
"No sir I do not. We were about to eat dinner and my husband came up here and found Dustin like that. He had gone to the doctor's office and spoke with Carol Carther, she drew blood to go get it analyzed, and he had a rash, and a fever. That was it, we didn't know he would turn into a crazy bloody mess like he is now."
"Okay, just get into your car, and we're all going to rush to the hospital."
"Okay. Connor come on get your keys. We need to go like a jackrabbit." I said, rushing down the stairs grabbing my purse and rushing to Conor's Aston Martin DB12, one of Aston Martin's fastest, newest cars on the road. I jumped into the passenger seat, and Connor started the car with a growl. The ambulance sped out of the driveway at full force, and we followed quickly behind. After what felt like an eternity, we made it to the hospital's ER section. We weren't allowed to go in while they set him up. It was agony, he was so bloody, I don't know..... I.... just... started to cry. Connor held me soothingly, caressing my cheek, running his hand through my hair, whispering soothing things.
I decided to call Carol, even though it was 7:30 P.M, and she already went home. She lived on the outskirts of Morgansville, North Carolina. The line rang and rang, then finally she picked up the phone. "Hey Carol, it's Dustin's mom, you need to get to the Tadulee Regional Medical Center, Dustin's in the hospital in terrible condition." I sniffled.
"Okay. I'll be there. What happened?" she asked.
"I'll tell you when you get here. Goodbye." I said hanging up.
